Chat Feature :D

A simple chat feature would be awesome.

During battle when two people get matched up, being able to chat mid fight and after I think would add a great aspect to the game. Giving the players a way to discuss decks and just simply talk about the game can be very enjoyable. Even just a simple 'gg' would be nice sometimes.

I understand why they don't do that... when people are matched up they really aren't fighting at the same time. I think the battle is pre-determined and then played for the two players. Every time I hit my back button on my android (grrrr... I wish that would get disabled while in-game) I have to re-login again. If I do it hours later, the battle is still there to watch real-time. The only time two players are synced that way is when choosing cards in pro-mode, which is why they have the time-out feature, so one person falling asleep or getting distracted doesn't prevent the other player from not being able to play anymore.

But, an ability to chat with people in-game would be awesome. And the ability to spar against people in the chat room without requiring them to be in your friends list would be good, too.

As far as the chat feature goes, when you get paired up with somebody in a match I am pretty sure if both people are at their phone ready to go it is pretty much real time. I know what you are saying when you can play your match an hour or two later when you don't do it right away, but I feel most people probably do it pretty instantly and therefore would be able to talk during and after the match. I think this would be totally a super sweet.

Even being able to just message friends back and forth would be not bad. Also being able to message people you just played against by clicking on the profile would be pretty cool too, I like me some card talk

It would make this game a ton more interesting as long as it shows if someone is online or not, and spam control. I'd hate to come on and have to filter through pages and pages of "buy gold" or whatever like on other online games. It's sometimes a two-edged sword.

Actually to make the game more interesting, we are really thinking about implementing chat during battle also. If 2 players are in the battle at same time, they could chat. It should be fun although this feature is not confirmed yet.

People love their chat in any online forum/game/world. During battle would be really sweet too, should definitely consider it.
