Ok admin, we have noticed you are now using real decks on players' bots. As in they are now using the exact decks they have used before...This CAN be a nice change but I feel some things need to be taken into account..
This new bot system throws off the balance waay too much. Its not fair for me or anyone else to lose normal DP amounts to a top player bot, and they never have the chance of losing any. It doesn't make much sense to me.
For example I just lost to Jamison7 bot and lost 1200 DP. If I would have won, Id win maaybe 200 DP. We lose points as if its the real player, but win points as if its a bot. This needs be fixed in my opinion.
1. If bots are now going to be really strong, the DP gain needs to be more than what bots are currently giving. It needs to be as if its the real player playing. It is not fair at all for us to potentially lose 10x the points than what we would gain in a win. It doesnt make any sense. Especially if we're basically playing that player.
2. If you can help it, make the bots scale to the player. Go by CAP of deck and or the amount of Epics the player has. For a player struggling at rank 50 its not fair for them to run into a top 10 bot and get smoked by very strong decks. If the decks can scale down to the opponents level it would be much more fair.
3. IF you want to keep the bots as they are. Let use lose the amount we would win.
Let's Talk Bots
Re: Let's Talk Bots
If there are bots out there please randomize the names or use computer generated ones. I don't like the idea of there being a bit player using my name and cards. Also like Penn says harder bots should be worth more. The only fair amount k what they should be worth is "market value." Such bots need to play regularly and accumulate their own hidden DP scores to determine what they are truely worth. At the same time if they are playing regularly the must have a wide variety of strategies to pull from as to not become obvious or automatic wins from regular play. Is up to ECb to determine if this is feasible but I think all players fully support it. I would enjoy playing stron computer Epic decks it will certainly make players think more than playing against dancer medusa combo. Now devs need some fine tuning to adjust what fair DP should be allotted. Some player I know faced top three player in ladders bit and earned 150 DP then faced some weak bit matches later and get 250 DP. Some sort of fair scaling hence would be in order. Obviously a
Bot will never play as intelligently as a player and is likely to not consider an intelligent counter to a cheese type deck that can plow through an infinite number of bit decks like a well designed gargoyle deck, junior sorceress stone deck, or bear deck. These types of decks require precision counters or else an AI is just throwing random decks right in to die without a single loss to the players deck. Only a "market value" approach to determine what hey are worth can fairly decide.
