Hi all
I have 2 suggests about ladder:

1) now the ladder sessions in a day are 3, 4 hours for every session for a total of 12 hours of play.
My suggest is to have 6 sessions of 2 hours every day.the total time is always 12 hours but,
in my opinion,in this way all the players may have more possibility to play and enjoy the ladder game time.

2)I suggest to make the ladder more competitive also for lower positions,in this way:
From 1th to 20th position now is ok
21-25
26-30
31-40
41-50
51-60
61-80
81-100
101-150
151-200
201-250
251-300
301-400
401-500

Changing ladder times could help grow the game. Here in the United States we have daylight savings time and I can almost only play evening ladder time which is 3-7pm. Unfortunately I usually get home around 5pm and the next two hours are playing with my kids and eating with my family. I don't like to stay up late for the next ladder as I must get up early for work. Unfortunately I cannot play the morning or lunch shift but sometimes lucky to get two or three games in at lunch rarely. Two hours on two hours off would be a huge improvement. A four hour no play slot can sometimes be a complete miss for someone like me who had potential and has spent much on the game. For sure I could catch part of a two hour block much easier.

A less drastic change to consider could also be 4 time slots of 3 hours.

4 hour blocks of no play are too long. People like me only have a few hour time slot in the day to play and when those hours fall within a no play block there is little you can do but sacrifice family time or stay up way too late at night.

I wonder if it would be worthwhile just removing the time slots altogether? I'm the type of person that just plays when convenient, which to me is the biggest appeal of mobile gaming. I'm certainly not going to block out dedicated time from other priorities to do so. I find it annoying that I can't play ladder when I feel like I want to.

Furthermore I believe we have enough volume of players that match pairing times won't be too long. I could be wrong, ECB admin care to comment?

not sure about time slots of 2 hours...my personal opinion is ladder should be open 24/7 since we have energy restriction. with that there is a chance for all to play whanever they can and will open possability to avoid same opponents over and over again.
