Quick Impressions on New Patch

Ok so lets all bare in mind that this is a very fast feedback for this patch. But there are a few GLARING aspects of this patch that are pretty alarming.


1. Guilds are welcomed! We needed a new aspect to this game besides ladder. BUT! 500 Diamonds for Guild.... are you kidding me!? Sure a few will pop up, but you are asking for $50 for a feature in your game. CMON. This is ridiculous. And dont try to justify this with the prizes. This a new feature which had EVEYRONE excited about. But now you restrict it to 20% of your player base?! WHY? please tell me why you want to charge $50 for a guild. Its pure greed and stupidity. Everyone should have access to creating a guild. Should be 50 Diamonds or 50,000 Gold.

The biggest problem with ECB is that new and free - minimal spending players struggle. And you have furthered the gap between spenders and non spenders, yet again. Nobody is happy about that. you should read your own chat once and awhile.

2. 50 Gold for winning quick matches instead of 100. Again.. why?

3. The daily gold reward being unable to collect is a bug right? If not, I dont see why you take away the little advantages players have from them.

4. Lack of campaign levels. A decent amount of players love campaigns. I feel like you are missing out on launching a lot of them with our updates.

5. Practice is gone... again why? your chat is blowing up with players asking why practice is gone. It is hard enough for weaker players to win against strong opponents. Now the easiest method to win some daily rewards is gone.

I am sorry to write such negative post. I was really hoping this update would be great. But, yet again it seems to disappoint. You have a group of very loyal players who love your game. But every update only frustrates players more than not.

Let me write some of my point of views about this patch so far:


1. Collect daily gold reward being removed is a very bad idea. Why? Because you are taking away chances free players to get stronger!! How can free new player get a win to collect gold? Without gold they cant buy packs, and they will eventually leave. Please reconsider it again and change it back to the way it was before.

2. Practice is gone is another bad move!! Without that new player can hardly get any experience, and yet no level up and no bonus gold from leveling up!! This is a serious mistake and pushing new player away.

3. Removing ladder gold bet. Well this is quite a good change tho. At least free player can get a taste of how ladder is like and get a decent prize from ladder( Btw I still hope the ladder prize should be better).

4. Create a guild need 500 diamond. That is a lot. Think about it this way, Epic pack only cost you 765 diamond!!! Why would any player throw 500 diamond just to create a guild instead of making themselves stronger first? Remember i'm one of the paid player and still think 500 diamond is too much so what would other player think? Please lower the price of this (my personal referrence will be say 20 diamond).

I hope Admin do have time answer those questions and i'm also welcome any player to join discussion!

Ok here we are:

i will start from simple things

1.pool thing or whatever it is it s stupid. we don t need to won match to get this but still is taking time. previous system with button was much better and i rly hope u will realize mistake and back good old button.

2. twice much coins...upsss! twice less coins for same energy. how do you think we going to buy lucky star pack'!? i know how. twices slower.luckly we have cards to do that. Excuse that u did that for free players is insane. with that tempo they will never buy lucky star pack. My suggestion is back coins match as thy were in 2.1. that was 100% correct or remove energy so we can play as much as we can to grind coins.

3. removing bet from ladder is good for free players and we/I can only say- good move ECB.

4.guild creator must pay 50$ to create guild'!? Rly? that is pure shame and robery dear ECB. this new feature should be for free like any other part of the game. this is free game (at least you claim that) so let players have guild for free or at least some coins that they can earn trought gameplay.

5. where are new qusts? Next version.Somtimes i have feeling my phone lie. If it s not my phone then sombody else lie. Qustion for prize is: Who?

6. Friends screen not working.. Ok it s bug and i m sure you will fix that.

7.Hardcore daily mission. It s still on 5 and you remove practice. what are you trying to do? Force players to play HC? No way. How do you excpect they will earn expirience? let me answer that. THEY CAN'T. also HC practice was only way to finish daily mission if u are not HC player and was sure 250 coins for all players.

8.i hope u fix loot because if u are not loot will be nice purple picture another fantastic version. + we paid diamonds for its options so i hope it will work.


THink it s enough for now. if i find something new to add will create another fun post

Quick first impression here is my feedback so far.

1. Coin bet amount reduced in coin bet not good. The grind is now twice as long. Here is how to quick fix it. Lost battles don't lose coins. For example here is pro mode analysis. Before you won 200 coins nkw you win 100:

Say you win 50/50: before you break even
Now: you break even
New proposed system where loser doesn't lose coins: you win 100 coins for five battles. That's 500 coins which isnt a lot for 10 battles! That's 1/5 of aucky pack or the equivalent of a silver card for ten matches played.

Say you win 60/40: before you win 400
Now: you win 200
New proposed system where you don't lose coins with loss: you win 600

Say you win 70/30: before you win 800
Now: you win 400
New system: you win 700

And for someone who wins 100% the will win 1000 gold instead of 2000. So all in all the new proposed system benefits most thise winning less than approximately 65% and is drastically improved for those winning 50% or less.

So what you see here is the NOW system is worse than the OLD system in every way whether you are old player money or free player. The new system I propose is more beneficial for everyone below 70% win rate and especially those with less than 50/50 win rate and these are the guys you need to target. Please take a look at this. Ditch the bet concept and focus on a reward concept.

1b. Bring back coins for ladder play. Make it identical to coin bet stated above. Loser doesn't lose coins. Everyone is praising you that free players can now play ladder without losing coins but now problem is they can't gain coins either by playing ladder. Players always move in positive direction and if they can't get gold in ladder they may not play. Without doing this u need practice mode. Free players need a place to play without losing coins. I think doing away with practice mode is right though. Now let's make sure they can play coin and ladder without losing coins. Right now the situation is not where it needs to be. small changes will get it just right.

2. Ok next impression. Play rewards. Now you must play to get your daily reward. This is great as before there were many players just collecting free coins and not playing. However I expect much backlash over this. One suggestion would be to allow all the play rewards to be gotten in one session. For example if I can only play one hour a day I can no longer get the full reward. Before I could login for one minute in the morning and collect the reward then login at lunch and do the same. Now I can only collect the reward at night. So bc if this you cannot expect people to play all three sessions unless they are BattleGod. I would suggest to make the play rewards bar not time dependent. It doesn't go down and refresh with each battle but instead you get the bonus for the match and you can play 19 in a row to get 1900 bonus for vip 6.

3. Ok now some bad news. Some players including me disappointed no new quests. We hope in a near future patch you can add lots of these.

4. Guild cost. It's so high at 500 diamonds. Now this has become a perk for the exclusives. Although it's still early and I can't know for sure I suspect there will be more players than available guild spots meaning all the free players will miss out. As of now there are five guilds and all the big money players have secured a spot. There's not too many big money players left to start a new guild and even if there was were not even close to supporting the 500-600 players we see online all the time. Simply reduce the cost to say 50-100 diamonds. Most players who can barely spend would rather buy a dominating or legacy pack then set up a guild. A good idea might be to charge 100 to start a guild and charge players 25 diamonds to join a guild. This way all players are sharing the guild cost more evenly rather than making one person foot the entire bill. This would allow more guilds to be formed.

5. Only two new cards. Medusa seems promising and the diamond trap seems weak. It looks like a target specific trap like trying to reach a special attack unit that other traps won't reach first such as a slayer hidden behind a wyrm. I'll mess around with it and see before further comment. May need much smaller cd like imprison or some other buff.

6. And now to cards redone. So far what I've seen fantastic. Many cards moved in the right direction. Imprison pushed back one sec, hero and dragon buff, arcane down to 9, slayer up to 1600 for buff to name a few. Think you made some wise choices in what you did.

7. Spells face down. Haven't had a chance to play pro yet and experience this. This could be great for free and new players who can now use the element of surprise to win a battle. I'm eager o see how this pans out. I was a big proponent for making spells and traps more playable in other than first four slots and this is different from my suggestions but let's see how it works.

8. Four ladder sessions. I think you can reach more people with four sessions over three. I for one could not play the old schedule. Now I can. Though some other players like Jairo now fall into that three hour window they want to play and can't. Goal should be to have more than 12 hours of ladder play and to do that you must encourage more ladder play. The play rewards feature is gonna help but u have to award coins for ladder for this to happen. Free players are not going to play ladder matches that don't get them gold. Theyll do the bare minimum to rank in the top 500 and in many cases it may make the situation worse. I expect a lot of backlash from players over this.
