V2.3 update impressions

Things I like are:
Many of the balance changes were good with several cards being made better and some stronger cards made weaker or stronger.

Highlights: frost hunter very strong and the new cards are great strong silver cards as well

Also the ability to watch live battles is great but I don't understand why you are charging energy tto do it. It would be great if free players with little to no energy could watch these battles and learn. Perhaps a compromise in which we are allowed to watch the first five battles for free before the cost kicks in.

Guild looting. This seems great as it gives guilds with this feature turned on the ability to gain extra DP fast. I noticed many guilds aren't doing this some weaker ones would tend to lose more from looting than what they would gain. A simple solution to this would be to rewars higher amount for guild loot win such as 60 and lower amount for guild loss such as 40. Also there seems to be a big I ladder when you win the guild looting is displayed in red. Whereas when you win same way the guild looting is shown in green. Lastly, guild members face each other and the stronger one keeps taking away HP from the weaker one with less cards. A seemingly unfair event.

Now for you campaigns. The new background is well done and even the quests 9-6 to 10-5 were super challenging I'm not sure many will conquer them for a while. However the farming option seems like a dud. I clicked it to see what it would do and I got 9 gold pieces?!

Well this brings me to my next point. I did r see an improvement in coins for the free player.

Lastly I missed the two new battle modes that were supposed to be added. My only guess is: guild looting which I wouldn't call a mode of playin. And live matches which also I would t call modes a just features

And one more thing is the numbers of free players online is not growing. Balancing some cards is not enough bc the free player cannot gain enough cards to sacrifice cards for
Rubies. The mission farming feature also seems pointless to me. I ran out of gold and couldn't play ladder for a short time. Finally I gamers some missions to get gold which is aupposedly not necessary for ladder.

back again even i said i will stop stop cominicate with you since u are so dissapointed me to many time..

well on that part nothing has change...dissapointed grows...on my last post i said your math guy sukz and he still sukz.
No pizza this time for him.

your balance changes are hilarious! wyrm on 13? and nerf on previous version,,,what is this,,wyrm is basicly now new amulet with one hit...nothing more nothing less..trent have better chance then wyrm to do somthing!!! at leat have greater attack and can absorb more hits...

DD i think this card was on right spot and u killed her...now looks funny

OmG why i even bother with you!! will stop writing right now!!! just for the record you doing teribble, greedy and in the end rude job. I Support game at any view and u constantly refuse to be normal!!!!

final impression: V 2.3 is pure shame, your shame you king of greed aka ECB. NO, you don t deserve explanation why because we almost never get explanation from you!!!!

Hi Bookie. Thank you for supporting Epic Cards Battle all the time.
It's always an pleasure to read your feedback.
The actual reason for players online declining is that Epic Cards Battle seems to be banned from ranking lists for all countries 2 months ago. Players of Android can only find the game through searching. This make the downloads now 1/5 as before. So that even the game quality has improved, the players have dropped not growing.
We have been trying to contact Google Play but they appeared to be not helping and ignore it.
We will continue to improve the game and trying to consult with Google.

Well admin i will help you a little.. I m on all chats and what i heard is many people complying on you.. Some of them get money back...did u ever think maybe they are mad on you or simply they don t care for you..is it nice to be somwhere u not belong because they not care for you anymore..taking money indirectly only because they can that.. Well now u see how it s nice to not get answer... Let me try again? Why loot not working and why u not give us back invested diamonds on loot options!?!!?

Hi momostorm. Thank you for keeping us in the loop in regards to some troubles you are having. In meantime you should rely heavily on word of mouth to grow your game. For you now the free player is more important than ever to the success of your game. I think in the next update will be good for you to spread some gold around to the free players in whatever creative ways as possible. By helping the free player gain more cards to help them grow, evolve, and sacrifice for rubies they will be more competitive with the stronger players and of course will enjoy the game more and tell friends more about it. Also to figure out a way to get the free player to play your game for hours each day rather than ten minutes will help your brand grow by word of mouth. I can't help but continuing to wonder if penalty free matches in ladder and coin with no gold losses would solve both these issues. 50 gold for win and nothing for loss.

In response to wyrm and Devils daughter the nerf was very dramatic. Wyrm being 13 was an increase by 2. Not sure why this was necessary other than to help the free player out but if so a better sutuon would be to lower wyrm hp or create a better counter in this case lizard man seems to be the answer but the dynamics between the two makes wyrm almost unplayable. Just by changing lizard man you seemed to have created the answer. Even a Devils daughter whos main attack was reduced to below 500 was a reduction of almost 25%. Well many people were starting this card and heavily invested in it so will see if they can adapt.

Well every version is different and forces new strategies so we'll see what goes. In meantime we hope that whatever problems you are having with Google can be resolved.

One last idea for you. Many players who stop playing your game tend to "check in" from time to time. Sometimes they return and sometimes they don't. Sometimes they're just angry their cards are all getting nerfed. As is the case many times there are upset people when cards are nerfed with each update. As this is very counter to spreading the game via word of mouth you should come up with solutions that address this problem. The simplest solution would be to give some amount of bonus gold reward for when players download the new version. It is funny how coins can make an unhappy person not feel as bad so ce they will likely have to spend weeks now grinding out minuscule amounts of gold just to reset it.

Other measures by which your game can be spread via word of mouth include rubie or diamond rewards for referring friends who spend a certain amount of money. Every player desperately wants diamonDS and if they can refer a friend who spends 500 diamonds and maybe get a 50 diamond reward they will go out of their way to recruit players and take an active approach rather than a passive approach.

You seem to be playing the game enough to enjoy it. At least be constructive. All your points may be valid try offering a suggestion instead like running advertisements in other games since Google play search isn't working.
