Combining Server Ladder During Periods of Day

So is understood that there is a new server which is good for overall growth of game (in small sense). Also you are preparing for some big jump in numbers you say once we are live on steam.? In the meantime there are many bots on server 1. As you are wanting to keep the servers separate understandably so that new players have a better environment to play with less strong opponents you must also balance having a server one that must be held up as well. How to come up with a solution that solves both problems?
One solution would be to have cross-server playing time frames where players from each server can play one another and earn and lose DP from one another. These designated time blocks could be every other four hour block just like ladder times used to be. The ladders would be two separate ladders still and new players on server 2 would enjoy benefits of ranking well and motivated to play. Also these newer players can choose to play in the four hour blocks that aren't cross server time frames. So if they want they cN avoid playing server 1 allyogether. Though I bet there are some up for the challenge
This could also be beneficial to both servers. Server 1 has quite a few bots. This has happened bc we split the fame in two. We went from 450 on server 1 to now 300 on server 1 and 150 on server 2 this diluting the player pool. Of course you did this bc of big plan to explode once you are on steam.
I believe that having a new server is a great way of recruiting and keeping new players where they have their own micro-environment but even if you grow and have ten servers with 500 people each, wouldn't it be fun if there were time frames where 5000 people could play against each other on criss server pvp? Many of us even on server 1 can grow tired playing the same dozen players over and over again. Thinking long term for your game you should consrantly consider not just how to add cards, quests, etc but must consider that even a top player in the top 10 may only face a challenge from a couple people per hour and be forced to play bots or overmatched free players the other 50 minutes. This would also keep the free player from having to play the top ten guy as well.
