10 Random ideas to increase game quality and motivate play

1. Reduce bots by motivating more play. (Ideas below). In the meantime I think bots have there place. They are ok for low rank players who are just getting started in the game. Here is one suggestion. Create 5 bots and name them bot 1, bot 2, bot 3, bot 4, and bot 5. Bot 1 plays cap 25-30. Bot 2 plays cap 30-35. Bot 3 plays cap 35-40. Bot 4 plays cap 40-45. And bot 5 plays cap 45-50. I personally HATE to face bots I think they're good for new players but an absolute waste of my time to play one in there current state. Yesterday I played 9 out of 10 matches were bots. I had to take a break for the rest of the day. I lost interest for a bit and did something else. You should come up with ways to motivate players to play so this doesn't happen. Stronger bots can be worth more DP or have rank as their wins and losses increase their DP reapectively they should be worth as much DP as their rank says how strong they are.

2. Give a daily reward for daily login (other than a random silver or gold card). People don't log in for their free card each day 95% of the time. It really is not that exciting more a chore. Rewards could be 1 diamond, 50 rubies, or 1000 gold, or rare chances of 3 diamonds, 200 rubies, or 3000 gold. NOW that's something every player with this game will make sure to log in for. Of course you can make diamonds more rare than gold or rubies but getting a diamond is like getting 1% of a purple card so ateast they feel like they're making progress to eventually own more than a few legend cards.

3. create a new battle mode for three one hour blocks of the day. This can be in place of loot. All cards played are level 1 regardless of if you've leveled them up. This would encourage people to buy more cards knowing that having them even at level 1 will be significant help. Offer a reward each day for those playing during his frame. This will help increase o line numbers to spike during this time frames and help in the proceeding ladder to have more players playing. Even some top players have left game bc competition keeps getting stronger and stronger. Top players are mindlessly strong now to where even they are bored. Simply call this mode "beginner mode."

4. Create a new daily challenge with a new point system called reward points or RP. Reward points reset everyday and person with most reward points each day wins 50 diamonds. Reward points are calculated like DP however they take cap differences into consideration this everyone has a fair chance of being the winner. Beating someone with a higher cap than you gives you more RP and shot at the daily reward than beating someone with less cap than you. This might even result in some top players trying to throw less powerful cards for a victory which could be good for free and new players. You could also reward the top five finishers with lesser rewards so that players play as much as possible and are highly motivated to fill that ladder up. The best part is it can be designed to where anyone can win it so all players will want to play as many matches as they can any given day. Motivate players and reduce bots.

5. Award coins for playing ladder. Other than winning a couple hundred coins for winning 5 or 15 matches give 50 gold for each win. Grinding coins got really really hard and some players left the game because of this. Do away with coin pro mode. There are players in ladder playing bots? And we have real players playing bots in coin? WTF. These guys should be playing each other. There's no need for coin pro if ladder pro offers coins per match. Consolidate players and reduce bots.

6. Find a way for players on server 1 and 2 to play each other. After splitting the game into two servers there are fewer players in each and hence the bots. Allow cross server pvp during intervals of the day. There are already strong players with many epics on server 2 looking for a challenge and new free players there can still avoid server 1 players if they wish. Maintain two separate ladders still where server 2 players still have good chance of reward. And new players can grow their card forces without being as overly matched.

6. give more honor points for cap difference as well. This could give each guild a fairer chance.

7. Bring back loot mode. Diamond cards and below only. This prevents loot abuse and is exciting bc even free players have a chance of "stealing" cards. More will play as losing super rare cards is not on the table. All cards can be played as level 1 only to make it even more interesting.

8. Though I don't mind some players don't like live viewing. It certainly makes the last 12 hours for the top three players somewhat challenging in hardcore. It's hard to throw a starting deck knowing someone in top 2 is watching and waiting so they can throw the perfect counter deck. Simply limit live viewing to one view of one person per day or put live viewing on a 30 minute delay. Or just keep it the way it is eventually we will adapt.

9. Although I have made several suggestions I think some idea of a "big daily reward" for playing a lot in one day is in order to increase the player base over night without even increasing the number of players. I mentioned earlier a way to win 50 diamonds that was fair to everyone. Maybe you have a more brilliant idea. But this is worth saying twice that's why I give it another number. Many free players will be motivated to play more and other players who o ly play themast few days ofadder would want to play the other ten as well.

10. Let players "rent" cards for 24 hours. Perhaps to "rent" an epic may cost 20 diamonds. You know those who "try it" might "buy it"

11. Give everyone 1000 daily energy. The new player is the player we want to play the most but they are the player who gets to play the least. You are competing with 20 other card games on the market. Time to adapt. You want them playing another game because they've used up all their energy here? That sounds like a bad idea. Plus we would like to see more player activity.

In regards to #1,2 thanks for your consideration and implementation. I have enjoyed the last ladder season more than others. Though we still occasionally play bots in this game is nice to see that bots are playing with legends and even epics. For most part everyone I talked to enjoy this challenging aspect of course without the caveat of using our names. Obviously figuring out the fair amount of DP is the tricky part. In regards to the daily guild login bonus reward I think I read this somewhere. This can be exciting to give a better incentive than a likely silver card as a daily reward and having to be part of a guild to get it sounds like a good idea. Thanks for tryin this out in the next upcoming version we hope this is a great feature and incentive.

In regards to #5, coins in ladder. Many versions ago coin in ladder was available and all players enjoyed to play ladder. Of course I argued that coins should not be lost but gained only so that new players would be motivated to play more ladder to get more coins and to avoid the frustration that some would lose more coins than they would gain. Several versions ago you trialed and to this current version to remove coins from ladder all together. The negative impact is that the free player needs coins to progress. And they don't feel they are "ready" for ladder without getting more coins. The end result is they do not play ladder as much. In several ladders ago I waited till the last couple days to play and I got my rank started off very low when I first played. I noticed that players ranked 400-800 only played 10-20 games all season. Players 200-400 played about 50-75 games. I asked myself why are "half" the current ladder players not really playing ladder much. 10 games hardly counts. Well as we know many don't feel they are ready for ladder and they must get coins first. Since the current version coin is taken away from ladder there is more incentive to just play coin bet or pro coin to in a sense "level up" your cards. You need gold to get new cards and you need gold to get rubies and chance for legend cards. Without those you're not ready for ladder..

Now we eagerly await the new version where the coins will be "bear" by the system. This is fantastic news for coin bet as players can avoid frustration of losing coins vs the bigger players and will not have to move backwards. However as great of an implementation as this will be Ihope that you would consider merging coin pro with coin ladder and to award coin in ladder hardcore mode as well. Much like you used to do. Since many new players need coin they do not play ladder. This makes ladder even less friendly to new players because ladder tends to not have enough free players so they are playing more veterans etcetera. To attract all the new players you simply fill their need for coins by rewarding coins in ladder. They will not only get coins for playing ladder but we will have a more robust ladder for everyone. They will also get all the daily rewards that they probably are missing out on because they are mostly grinding coins in bet mode. And they will simultaneously be gaining critical ladder experience while gaining the coins they need to level up at the same time.

Well I know one step at a time so glad that we are trying new things In the upcoming version and that many seem very very positive steps in the right direction for free players having some positive benefits with less frustration. Well I did want to keep this idea open for more discussion and hope that you will analyze this and watch to see if such an implementation will help stack more people into the same playing pool while giving the gold benefit to progress through the game. We are eager to see the next version and all the great things you've mentioned will be coming.
