Congrats on creating a forum and trying to build up this game ^-^
Some feedback.
First when this first game came out I was blown away by the graphics, the mechanics and the unique gameplay.
A game that really puts risks and rewards at the forefront of the game.
Unfortunately after each update the game is going towards a more generic approach to these kind of tcg games
that are plenty in the ios and android market ^^
I humbly ask that you return to the roots of what made this game awesome. Strategy and high risk gameplay.
You win, you gain cards, you lose you lose cards.
The one thing that I feel that really changed the game were the inclusion of the Epic rarity cards.
Price being one thing (way too expensive) but the biggest aspect was that they were not lootable.
In other words it changed what was most interesting about this game.
Epic cards takes away the risk factor and takes the joy out of winning a game. When you lose against another
player whose cards cannot be looted it feel alright, but when you win a well earned match and you gain nothing
for it, there is no longer an incentive to play the game ^-^
My two cents!!!
Bring it back to the beginning... I really enjoyed this game when it first came out. Only android game for me to
drop down real cash and now I dunno what to do about this game ^-^

Getting dumped on by someone who spent 700$ and then losing youre best cards seems like a bad time

Hahaha I hope no one spent 700 dollars on this game ^^ but yeah I understand that P2W (pay 2 win) is inevitable in some way but I think this game is going unbalanced in the wrong way.

So I guess what I am trying to say is that make loot the most attractive and fun way to play this game.
Award players who play well and help players who don't play well.
Don't let VIP players walk away from a loss with no loss. And don't punish the players who win without paying.
If I play a loot game and win but the other player has 3 epics and is vip 6 then I gain nothing while he loses
nothing.
That makes Loot play basically meaningless.
Add a mode where you can lose all cards and gain all cards please ^^

Well, I'll be honest. I haven't played anything prior to the current version (1.5, right?), so I don't have any recollection of pre-epic non-lootiness.
I can see why ECB has it (it's gotta be a great source of revenue). Whether it is lootable or not, I'd recommend at least making it so people can earn one or some through the course of playing the game.
As for lootability, at least put SOME risk into it, even if it is a 10% chance to lose an epic in a lost game. The OP is right, I do get into a game quite (too) often where first three cards that pop up are epics and everything else is just a heal card or something. That means, going into it, I'm wagering diamond cards while this person is wagering, at most $1,500 gold in losses, in a card he/she undoubtedly has dozens of. I suspect this person does it expecting most people to say, "No thank you," and fork over the 400 gold to back out of the game. I've beet hands in quick mode with 3+ epics, one with all silver cards one time, but I'm not ready to bet a lot of my cards in doing so continually. Now, if I had a 10% chance of looting one of those cards, I'd be all for it.
I must admit, the loot games are awesome! It's the closest thing I get to an adrenaline rush these days. It isn't much fun when I have to bet a lot to win a little or nothing at all. I think that is where the OP and I see eye to eye.

Hey Prodigy really appreciate the comment and feedback.
I have to say you are an amazing player for someone so new to the game.
I have to say version 1.1 and I think up to 1.2 were the glory days.
Imagine this,
You could only play loot games. You lose you lose all, you win, well you pay a little money to gain the right, but you can
loot all. No epics and no ability to protect your cards.
Every game you played was about using a strategy to outthink the greater mass. If you could come up with a killer
deck you could be winning 10 - 20 cards everyday.
Not only that when you bought cards you got 8 of lowest kind, 6 of the next kind and 4 o the 3 star kind.
So much more cards to play with.
No enhancing, so no unfair advantage over the people who play more or pay more. Just finding the best 6 card combo.
Those were the glory days ^^

The developers were actually responding to overwhelming feedback that players wanted to have less risk when playing, especially for newbies and casual gamers. I agree with you that it added a huge thrill to the game, but I think they have struck a good balance by now giving players the option to play with cards as ante and without.

I agree with your post. Lost alot with epic cards. Looting cards no longer fun. Ibwont even play card lootng if there is a epic in it. No point.
