Ladder time & reward

I just figured it out today, the Ladder times are completely wrong for me!! At first I thought the play times given were just an indication and I kept watching the countdown, but for 2 days it didn't seem to get to 0. I just wanted to start playing now and I saw again 18 hours on the clock!

My times are 13.30-17.00 in the afternoon and 01.30 till 05.00 at night. As my boss won't like me playing at work and I don't usually play in the middle of the night this means that I can't really compete at all.

Now I understand there's the America's, China and people that don't work or go to school and happen to live in Europe to satisfy, but what about me?! I'd be happy with choosing time-slots, with a max number of 25 ranked matches, with max-two hours playtime per 12 hours, anything. But not with this! ;-(

Also, apart from the obvious honor of beating Catty W, I think the rewards aren't that great. Getting to the top10 is quite hard, and if you don't you get 25 diamonds or less and some measly gold you can earn every two days. Even 1 event-only card or a 1pct chance of an epic would make me want to compete much more! Of course then I would be even more frustrated I couldn't compete with these weird times...

Yeah the time slots are kinda meh. THey are tho, 12 hours apart. For me it is 5:00 am and 5:00pm.

U said you're in europe? Isnt one of those times good for you? Maybe be sneaky at work

I agree on the prizes. I knew it would be lackluster .I'm glad they made the payouts go deep though.

Not sure how I feel about the prizes. They need to be something worth competing for or it will just be 50 or so players competing for Fame. /rage

Also, the countdown timer I dont think is always right. Just look at the time it states for it to start

Dear Player,

We are sorry that earth is a round ball, not flat.

The 2 time slots per 24 hours are most catered for the 2 largest groups of players on planet:Asia and American.

The time slots are to help players find battles quickly and near their skill, it's like an interesting event everyday.

Please let us know if you have good suggestions and solutions, that can benefit all players.

I dont mind the time slots actually. I think it is a good idea. I just feel for the EU guys.. maybe add a third slot?

you should relay the message to who ever does the planning that the rewards should be drastically improved i believe.

I really like the idea of the ladder matches and reward system, but to play for a month and 4-10 place get 50 Diamonds and 7k gold?? That is a joke! The 7k gold is absolutely meaning less. The amount of Gold earned playing for a month trumps 7k. Cool prize...

And then it just gets worse. The diamond count needs to be amped waaay up. 25-50 get 20 diamonds. You can barely do anything with 20 diamonds. And getting 25th-50th place is pretty GOOD!!

I dont understand why you guys would short us on prizes. THere is NOTHING, NOTHING, wrong with giving out better prizes. IT will ALL come back to you. How do you not see this? As well as making everyone happy and want to play more.

Agreed 100%. I don't see much value in playing ladder. I know I can't compete with the people who get real prizes, so why bother. And I'm not going to dedicate hours and hours of grinding in the hopes of earning 20 measly diamonds.

I scratch my head at what ebc is doing. It has the potential to be such an awesome game, but they frustrate people from being avid players. They charge too much for diamonds and are ultra-stingy on giving anything back to the economy. Even loot battles are 500 gold penalties if you time out, which I would applaud if that full 500 gold went to the player that got timed out on. Instead, we get half of that.

They could increase their revenue exponentially if they'd only reconsider their price points. So often there is nobody to play with that I just sit in some queue waiting for somebody else. Then they put timers up, which I can understand to an extent, but they are put in place when I'm either sleeping or at work.

I'm just getting so frustrated with this.

I agree with PennFifteen about the price. This price is good, when we need for fight for it only a week or 10 days, but cmon srsly 1 month fighting for this price is bad, you should min. double it the diamonds and min. triple the gold(we don't earn gold when we play ladder)... Little math, 1 person in 1 month will play around 500 match, with 70% winrate in pro mode you earn: (500*100)*0,7=35 000 $, and if you play ladder and get rank 4-50 you get 5-7k gold what?? Ohh, and why we don't win rubies?

Can someone explain the ladder times? Do everyone in the world have the same ladder time or do different regions have different times? or do the times vary according to your rank?
