Nine Tails Calculating Incorrectly

This bug discovered by goce in one of our friends matches but I will report here.
This card reduces attack by 20% when attacked. Say creator 300-500 attack hits nine tail. It's attack will be reduced to 320-420. The way it is calculating is that average attack of 400 was reduced by 80 (20%). This is then deducted from min and maximum so average attack is reduced by 20%. So far all fine and dandy. Keep in mind max attack may only reduce 10-15%. NOT 20%, so wording should be changed to at least say that average attack is what is being reduced by 20%.
Problem occurs if you use a deterrence. The min attack is reduced by 200 at beginning of battle or 250 for high level. Now creators attack at beginning is 50-450 or average of 250. If this creator hits a nine tail it will reduce it's attack by 20% of 250!which is 50 attack. New creators attack is 1-400. That's an average attack decrease of 20% and a max decrease of 11%. Now here is where the bug occurs. If creator attacks nine tail a second time at attack of 1-400 average of 200 then attack should be decreased by 20% of 200 or 40. This means the new attack should be -39 to 360 for an average of 160. But since negative attacks don't make sense instead his attack goes to 1-360 for an average attack of 180. At this point creators average and maximum attack are only decreasing by 10% for the rest of the match.
Is this intentional to keep nine tails from being too strong? Or is this a bug that is making nine tails too weak?
I suspect this is a bug.
Here is the interesting thing:
If no deterrence is used creators attack after three times hitting nine tails is 105-305 and continues to reduce by 20% each time.
If deterrence is used creators attack after three times hitting a nine tails is 1-324 but continues to reduce by 10% each time.
Notice that by using deterrence it actually works against nine tails ability. Even after three hits a creator had a higher attack despite the attack reduction boost at the beginning of the match with deterrence and the reductions after that are half as much. Technically the average IS lower so this is still more favorable statistically even with the higher max attack.....
