Epic Cards Battle

Duke vamp attacked my little Kitty Girl (with Slashing strike) my love dodge it, but the Vamp still gained +HP, why??? He didn't deal any dmg, and i think he gain dmg every time when dodge ability happen(like Dual Daggers Rogue)... I dont think its working as intended.
Ok i just observe Evil Lich gain dmg too, no matter the attack was dodged. I still think this is not good this way...
