Is there any way to get purple and black cards in this game? I've been opening the 2000 gold pack that says I can get a purple card but I never did (I've opened many packs).

Yeah it is possible to get purple cards in those packs, but it is a low chance.

This new update that is coming seems promising, maybe the chances will go up in the packs.

Hmm~ I must've opened over 20 packs now still no purple cards.

What about black cards? In game tip says you can purchase any card via gold in the shop, and apparently it got changed. Are there any new system in place where you can acquire specific cards without playing real cash?

I believe this statement mean u use diamonds to buy directly when u are VIP lvl 4 (i dont remember). And to become VIP 4 u need more diamonds...And u can get diamonds from Ladder/Quests/new daily reward or $.. So basically u can buy a Black card even u are f2p although it take ur best effort . Just my 2 cents.

Hmm~ the tips during loading screen specifically says 'gold'. And in this thread it's also said that you used to be able to use gold to buy cards from a certain rarity http://www.momostorm.com/Website/ecb_fo ... ?f=2&t=100

I'm just wondering how they expect new players to acquire high rarity cards, or continue to play if you cant acquire all cards without paying anymore. (Making it an extremely long grind is a fair game, but making it impossible isn't.) Especially when there're cards like The creator where as a new player you have pretty much no chance on the ladder.

Purple and black cards are not necessary to be a top player ask smokiv2u he plays all blue cards and below and is top 20 ladder player consistently beating players with purple and black cards by out thinking them. Better cards will give you more options but aren't always the best card the situation will dictate that. You can buy crystal flowers pack and have chance at purple and black. Biased on my experience odds if purple in lucky stars is about 1 in 50 and I am willing to bet the same is similar for crystal flower pack. Admin says they are giving out a black card a day and based on feedback many players are hoping they slight bump the odds of getting some of these cards in 1.9. But even top players who pay don't own all the cards. I have 92% and only one person in this game had 100%. Your best strategy is to level up as many cards as possible so you have options. If you pour all your rubies into upgrading one or two cards you will not be successful at this game.

This game is about grinding. I have put some money in but still grinding to get more rubies and more cards. You will never reach max level of all your cards so there will always be something to play toward especially if admins keep coming up w new cards and more strategies. They are supposed to be doing some balancing in 1.9 to help newer players be on look out.

Almost every day i buy a new pack ( the small one , lucky stars ) and i have win just one 4* card !!! I'm not a lucky or the chance is too small- idk.

Chance is very small.. I play over 7 months and i won only 2 purple cards in lucky star pack..on daily base i buy 3-4 packs..so don t bother with that.. You can play with blue, golden or silver cards you just need to upgrade them little by little.. Of course you need time for this but is possible...like bookie said..with purple black cards u only have more options but trust me u can do great things with other cards.. From season 1 till now i never been below position 50 on ladder and i didn t spent a cent
