The resources are limited, once you complete a campaign quest, there is no way of earning rubles.
I'm at 8-5, most all the quests completed with 3 stars, and only a handful at 2 stars and even fewer 1 star,
So aside from buying more packs with daily gold reward then sacrificing unwanted, extra cards for rubies, what is another method?
Also, do the daily login rewards end after 30 days? Or just for this season???
I guess I'm stuck on the traditional RPG styles, I'm stuck with 700 energy and nothing to do. I certainly do not want to do coin bet or card loot yet, I'm afraid I still need to get more experience and enhance the cards. But to enhance cards, I need rubies T_T.
Thanks for reading, and I'd be even more grateful if someone gave some tips and tricks on how to grind rubies once all the campaign are completed.
Can someone explain how to grind rubies in this game?
Re: Can someone explain how to grind rubies in this game?
You will get more rubies per gold in the first pack. However blue card ratio for that pack seems to be much lower chance.
The beat way to grind out rubies for free players at the moment in v1.91 is in loot. The majority of players play only silver and gold cards due to the high cost of respawnimg a lost card (40+ diamonds for your non silver and gold cards). Don't be afraid to go here and play chances are better than you would think for a skilled free player. Here there are free players in palringo who have won as many as ten purple cards a week although this is uncommon it is possible.
Once you win all the cards you can begin sacrificing cards for rubies. A purple card can sacrifice for over 200 rubies and in loot it is possible to win multiple of these in a single battle. Same with blue cards. Winning multiple of these in a loot battle can bring scores of rubies.
Of course to do this you will need high level silver and gold cards. A level 30 or 40 silver or gold card is often as strong if not stronger than a low level blue or purple card. There are some free players with level 40 purple cards this way but they have done some serious amount of grinding.
I am not aware if daily rewards will continue last thirty days. Hopefully in the next update devs will consider maintaining a daily reward involving rubies, gold, and or diamonds to keep players coming back every day. Also looks like v2.0 is near. So we can see what it offers.

Re: Can someone explain how to grind rubies in this game?
Oh yeah forgot. You will need to max level upgrade all your loot options like sticky fingers etc before doing this so that you aren't at a huge disadvantage. This is not a get rich quick strategy but a slow grinders strategy with high level skill willing to put in a lot of time. Good luck.
Re: Can someone explain how to grind rubies in this game?
Sorry aliase missed part u said about not wanting to play loot. I'm not a grinder but here's some other advice. You can repeat quests for gold and buy packs with that. There is no short term strategy for accumulating rubies for new players. Only through experience and getting to loot eventually will you become a successful grinder. I recommend you play ladder in short term before attempting loot. There are currently about 1000 people on ladder without gold, ruby, and diamond card payouts for the top 500. Ladder season ends this Sunday so there is still time to squeeze some last minute games in to achieve rank. Nice thing about ladder is you will be matched up with others close to your rank for the most part. Occasionally you will see a big fish and occasionally you will be someone else's big fish. Ladder is a great place to hone your skills and achieve your daily missions where some grinders spend their focus on getting rubies that way. Hope there is a nugget if wisdom somewhere in there for you. You can download app palringo and search for epic card battle to join our temporary chat room and get advice from other experienced players.
Re: Can someone explain how to grind rubies in this game?
Thank you so much for taking your time to write this out. It was very insightful. I followed your advice and joined the ladder. Which was incredibly frustrating. Like you said, there were a lot of big fishes. But the occasional small fishes with the DP boost compensated. My win ratio is pitiful. Around 33%, I'm worried that the matchmaking for the ladder are seriously all over the place. Im around 368th place I think?
As for Loot, can you explain how it works. Do they get to loot all the cards in my deck? How many can they take? etc... The game library doesn't do a good job of explaining the process. Or maybe it was lost in translation, I'm not sure. Once again thanks for answering my initial question.

Re: Can someone explain how to grind rubies in this game?
Hi aliase, I have not played loot in some time bc known most if the cards already however I believe it works as so:
You play six cards vs their six cards in pro style format:
If you lose all six of your cards are gone. If you upgrade all your loot options you will get a chance to revive each card for gold or diamonds. Silver and gold cards revive for gold coins but I can't remember how much maybe 1000 gold or so per card. It is cheaper to buy packs probably and have extras of your cards than to revive. Diamond and legend cards cost diamonds to revive and they are not cheap. Maybe 40-50 diamonds to revive a blue card and maybe 80-90 diamonds to revive a purple card. Epics not playable in loot.
Bc of the heavy cost to revive losing a purple card is like losing ten dollars. It is hardly worth risking purple cards for a chance to win some silver and gold cards but people do it anyway. This is good news for you. Big you just play silver and gold cards you may scoop some if these valuable cards up for your collection. Do not risk a diamond or legend card unless you will be ok with losing it, it will suck if it happens but i have been on both sides before so it is also great to win one if these cards. It's a gamble and easy to want to start throwing big cards out tonget to win. You make that choice.
Now if you win then their cards are laid out face down. You get to flip over one card for each level you've upgraded. Then you get to select one if each card for each sticky finger level you upgraded. If you max out all your levels you can flip all their cards and take all their cards. This is ideal. Otherwise you may win only to find that you can only flip three cards and take one. Not so good.
As for ladder here are some tips. There will always be some guy out there with bigger and stronger cards. That doesn't mean they will win. You may not win the first time but pay attention to what they played. Often top players get repetitive sometime and play same pattern of cards over and over. This makes them easier to beat as now they are like a campaign.
Here is my advice to you. Don't put all your rubies in one card but spread them out to 10-20 cards for now. I use as many as 50 cards regularly. Mix things up bit also pay attention to your opponents you will see people in your ranking area more often meaning you will play certain people regularly. Knowing their tendencies can be used to your advantage. Also you just need experience. Many here have played over 1000 games and know all the cards. Remember to play off your opponents cards rather than go in with a game plan. The real game plan unfolds each round you select cards so think fast and you will get better with time. Hope this helps. Most importantly have fun. Nobody wins all the time and i have been beaten by free players every so often. I imagine it must be a great feeling to win vs a top player you will jump up and down like you won the game . That is part of the thrill so keep realistic expectations as more times than not you will be at a disadvantage.
The real fun is in the challenge. Beating the guy who is much stronger than you will require skill go out and good luck have fun! See you on the battlefield.

Re: Can someone explain how to grind rubies in this game?
I think the best way to be stronger, if u earn some experience in ladder, after that play a loot match.
Only the loot match give real chance to earn legend level cards (Lucky Star's legend chance wery low)
