Epic Cards Battle

Hi Newcomer:

Welcome to the game and this is a guideline for new player, maybe you have a better solution or comments please feel free to write down for you and let’s discuss.

First thing first, the reason why I write this guideline is of course to help new player, also is I love this game and is a way to show my devotion to this game. Here I will break down several parts to help new player.

1) What card worth to enhance

As this guideline is mainly aim how to help new player (by all means I assume you
are free player). I will discuss what card worth to enhance. In silver, there is a lot of cards worth to enhance. Here are some of the examples:

a) Succubus: very powerful silver card in the game. It is powerful not only because it’s AOE damage but also if enemy hit you their HP reduced as well. Very good against AOE attacker and red dragon, but very bad vs devil daughter.
b) Ice Elemental: Very decent card in silver. High armor and HP. When enemy hit her, their cd for next attack increase by 2 seconds. Very effective when played against Blade Master and AOE attacker.
c) Apprentice Swordsman: This is one of the most underestimated cards in the game. It does very decent damage on light/unarmored unit and if enemy’s deck has more than 2 light or unarmored unit it became AOE attack.
d) Slaughter: This card is very tricky as if its HP ratio is below 40% it can heal himself when activates. The reason why I picked this card and recommended free player to enhance is it is very good card vs Pierce attack!!! It basically would not die vs one Pierce attack ( or if you are lucky maybe u can win vs two Pierce attack )
e) Skeleton Archer: This card is another tricky card as in first nine second of the game it would not die so quite good.
f) Dual Daggers Rogue: This card can be very annoying card in the game as it has 30% to be unharmed by both Physical and Magical attack. So I guess its okay to upgrade that too.

Now let’s move on to gold card. Here are some of the good cards:

a) Pit trap: This card is one of the strongest cards in the game and yes I can say it again this card is very strong. Why? It basically trapped every unit card which has defensed higher than 30 and in this game very less card is lower than that.
b) Violent Maid: This is a great card vs AOE card and if enemy throws a lot of AOE card, which will be your best counter, so please upgrade it.
c) Kendoka Girl: This card is quite a wild card as all it does is lower highest attack card attack and it is very fast. Very effective against Overlord. One of my secret weapons XD.
d) Treant: This card might be very slow (actually slowest card in the game) but it is very good tank against Threat Attack especially too good vs Diao Chen!
e) Flaming Arrow: One of the most common cards in the game and even high rank player loves it. Fast cool down and high damage on odd cool down unarmored unit.
f) Priest: This card is one of the most favorite cards for free player. High armor and decent HP, and the most important effect of this card is can heal surrounding unit card. Weakness is Flaming Arrow.

For diamond card, here are some of the examples of must enhance cards:

a) Frosthunter: Very decent damage, plus it is fast cool down. Very good against unarmor unit.
b) Blizzard: It is nerfed but it is still very useful card. Very good vs fast cool down unit.
c) Trap detection: One of most important card in the game and I do not think I need to explain it XD
d) Thundergod’s Wrath: Very powerful magic card, every unit card nightmare.
e) Sabotage: Great card vs magic. Has chance to destroy magic card.

2) How to get more rubies:
In this game you have few ways to get rubies, one of the best ways is to finish daily mission. Global game you can finish by practicing quick game. Another way of getting decent rubies is by sacrificing your duplicate card. Usually I keep only two of each card until I’m high level enough. And it’s a good idea not to enhance one or two cards as you need more various cards to play real people. The third way is to join ladder, I recommend you to do that UNTIL YOU ARE HIGH LEVEL ENOUGH (at least level 30, at this level you should have enough cards).

Forgive me if my english not very good and i tried my best to write my ideas . Also if you guys have any comment or correction to my post, feel free to add it!!

Very good suggestions GAP, I will add some comments. As top five players in the game still uses u silver gold and diamond cards.

1. As top five player I still use to this day apprentice swordsman, succubus, slashing strike, and Blessing of Mother Earth. I believe that slaughter would be very useful too for someone who is free. Rubies are hard to get in this game and without vip 3 then once you've invested them in a card they're gone for good. At vip 4 u can reset cards to get them back. Rest assured any rubies you put ini these above mentioned cards should never need to be gotten back. They will remain useful for the remainder. I will argue that succubus is the best and sometimes plays like a 3 or 4 star card when leveled up high enough. It can be used to deal with red dragons, aoes, creator, and melee units such as godfather, hot ninja, panda, Tauren, etc.

2. Here I would invest heavily in pit trap. It is a fantastic trap that will be useful in all rungs of ladder. You'll find that priest decks can elevate many free players into the top 100 as well. I do recommend high level priest. As top player I still use treant. Although you probably do not need to level it up keep in mind that it is very useful vs jokers, diaonchan, overlord, godfather, hero just to name a few. As GAP stated violent maid is a surprisingly strong card vs 3 or more aoes. It's fast and and has special attack with unarmored defense so it will outperform all their Aoes. Lastly troll is of high value. It can hit extremely hard over 1000 damage when opponent lays out two light armored units like JEnn and Ninja then play this card.

3. Although I agree with GAP that thunder gods wrath is a good card do not bother to level it up. It's just as strong at level one so save rubies for now. You will often be outmatched and I have seen some free decks take down top decks using mermaid with apprentice swordsman and slashing strike. For this reason metmaid is worth a look. Yout best diamond units are ninja, unicorn, and skeleton king. Do not waste rubies on Mia. All three of those units will have lasting power if you put rubies there they can stay.

Lastly I will say this. Everyone's style is different. Please do not spend rubies too early as they are hard to come by. Take your time and play some ladder matches for a while first to learn how to play pro mode it is very different than campaign mode. And when u do decide to spend rubies remember to spread them around so you are not forced to rely o the same six cards everytime. It's best to have at least 15 playable cards early on to handle a variety of scenarios.

My 2 first 4 stars are ultimate seal and Angela's amulet. So I never used pit trap in life. Is there some way in which pit trap would be better than than and worrhy upgrading my deck?
The most important gold card to get high in ladder is 2 priests together. Besides healing they attack the weaker adversary toghether. In my first ladder ever 2 priests + 2 not magic attack cards got me 83th

Seal and amulet are both very good card too but since this is a guideline for helping new player, i would not discuss it here. Sorry Jairo ><!

Angela's amulet is best played with few units and ideally one unit. Bc it drains quickly vs aoes. It's also funny to play this card against someone with three jokers.

Ultimate seal is a great card too but keep in mind that it does not catch many of the units that too tier players play such as slayer, templar, succubus, succubus Queen. I you don't suspect these cards then you're fine with seal. It's the better option in terms of dealing damage but to make it comparable to pit trap does require significant rubies that non pay players aren't going to be able to invest and may find an enhanced pit performing better for them.
