Campaign Levels New Players Should Clear ASAP

New players should begin by clearing as much of the campaign as possible. There are three cards in the campaign that will prove very useful and you will want to add them to your collection as soon as you can. These cards are powerful, extremely versatile and are relatively hard to open in packs. In addition you will need them if you wish to compete for a spot in the Top15 of ladder.
These are the cards you will receive and what levels they are unlocked at:
Chapter 1 Boss Hard: Sabotage
Chapter 2 Boss Hard: Trap Detection
Chapter 7 First level Normal: Blizzard
Chapter 7 might be different for newer players at first, but there’s no penalty for failed attempts, so if your having trouble just go back to it when you’ve increased the size of your collection.
Warning!!:Once you’ve obtained these card do not sacrifice them to rubies. They are crucial for competing in Pro or Hardcore and are difficult to open additional copies of from packs.

Speaking of which.....
Definitely adding more campaigns each time you do an update is essential. The longer you can keep new players around the better. The more campaigns they have to conquer and the more they play the game then the more ladder-ready they become also. I'd also suggest adding more and more blue diamond cards as rewards to these campaigns. Give the new players lots of these cards so they can compete in ladder sooner. Also when players come back to check on game after a major update this gives them something to do if they already completed all or most of the campaigns. Lastly, I hate to say this but drawing inspiration from some of the top decks out there when you create new campaigns could result in some real-world knowledge/experience which could really translate in helping new players fair better vs top players and get them up to speed quicker so they don't just get ran over. Not saying copying players decks and turning them into campaigns, but maybe copying 3-4 cards from a deck then adding 3-4 more of your own could show new players a little flavor of what to expect in ladder.
Lastly, if you really want to encourage new players to stick around for a long time, then I suggest a new feature in the "Achievements" section. To make this more attractive you could give away a few Prize cards.
For example here are some suggestions.
Achievement 41: Compete in 3 ladder seasons. Reward Mana Wyrm.
Achievement 42: Compete in 10 ladder seasons. Reward Skull Bomb.
Achievement 43: Complete 150 matches in a single ladder season. Reward Random Purple Card.
Achievement 44: Complete 500 total ladder matches. Reward Second Random Purple Card.
Achievement 45: Complete 2500 total ladder matches. Reward Random Epic Card.
The question you have to ask yourself is this: Are you willing to give away a couple purple cards and/or an epic card IF the result is that the new player is converted to a long time loyal player? We need players playing ladder. Players playing ladder keep the game going. Keeping new players around longer so that they fall in love with the game is key. More can be done to incentivize ladder play still in my opinion.
