Yes, I would believe so.
If on iOS (Apple product) you may also use an iTunes voucher if I am correct, correct me if wrong.
On Android products, you can also use Google Play Cards.
The above vouchers would have to be redeemed and then it would all add up into a wallet which could be use for in game app purchases for this game and many others.
