I dont see the bapance in this game. Tons of people are complaining about Cards like Bandit, Poison rain + + + and more..
First .. where is the logic in making Poison rain being a GOLDEN Card ? This card is insane easy to upgrade and since you are able to put 4 of them in one deck the enemy is loosing (80-120) armor on EACH unit every round .. and guys - 7 SECONDS. This is freaking ridicoulus.
I really started hating this game for creating nonsense cards which are based on how much luck you have each game. I know how to counter poison Rain but if the enemy KEEPS DODGING my attacks 3 times in a row while the Chance is at 40-50% (2x Dodge units) i really dont understand it ..
There is no fun in creating a really strategic deck if people keep spamming these cards in EVERY ladder or cards loot battle ..
It's not fun anymore. I suggest every single player not to spend a single dollar into this game, since you are being rewarded with cards in an unbalanced game. Just do not spend real cash - Trust me.
I meam if you want to be very good go ahead and calculate - you will need atleast 400 bucks. Everything below is not worth spending
Fix the Game. Increase poison rain cooldown. Decrease the Dodge chance of a few cards (They are silver/gold holy crap did you even test the cards before you plugged them into the game?)

I agree with you that poison rain is overpowered in this version but as what you have said, it can be counter. For the daggers rouge, there are some cards that can deal damage which cannot be dodged. Therefore, I don't think using decks with magic cards and daggers can easily put the players at the top position. What I see from these cards is that free players can also build a strong deck and have a little more chance to compete with players who paid. (Just like bear deck, it is strong but not easy to be used well in pro mode, but they sometimes can beat players with epic)
I don't know did the developers test the game before new version released. However, for players who love the game, what we can do now is to act like you and other enthusiastic players, SPEAK and TELL. And wait for the v1.8 coming in this month=)

Oh wait no, they are dead before they even had a chance to attack. 4 Poison Rain lvl 20 dealing special damage on an enchanted armor is pretty lethal.
I agree that the easiest way to deal with this is to increase the cooldown drastically.
I mean dealing huge damage (depending on armor type) + reducing all your units defense should be a 11 sec cooldown for me.
There's so many potential in this game but right now it's just not fun to play.

It is pretty sad that sweet pirate cannot be a good counter to fight against daggers and rain.T_T So blade shield, assassination etc are sometimes used as an alternatives.
Ya, adding CD is the most efficient way. Rain is hit in v1.7 because 7CD is really too short.

i think heal cards are wery useful against poison rain.
But "Healing" single target heal, and "Blessing of M. E." mass target heal, relatively weak against upgraded epic/legend cards.
For example my lvl 46 "Healing" card heal 560-570 hp on my lvl 46 bear, against strong single target (upgraded) hitter this value suck......
Currenty, in high end ladder the healing decks weak...
ECB should buff heals cards.
