Epic Cards Battle

Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum.

I'm wondering about what cards to enhance. I have most of the 1-2 star cards, and a few (~10) 3 stars. Is it a good idea to enhance 1 star cards first? Also, what cards do people often use in a good deck?

Hi sweet gab everyone's playing style is different. Things move in patterns. Every card has a counter to it or several even. If I named a card and everybody went and enhanced it and everyone played it then the new best card would be the counter card to it. Here is my suggestion to you, do not upgrade any card yet till you have played at least 60 ladder games. This should take no more than a week. Experience alone will help you learn the good and bad attributes to each card.

Once you are ready to spend some rubies I suggest spreading them around to at least ten cards you feel you are using most often. Keep a good balance by having cards of different attack types and different armies as well. If all your upgraded units use melee you will get beaten by units with enchanted armor. And on flip side if you play only units with enchanted armor someone will exploit this by dropping units with special attack on you. Your goal is to exploit the weakness in your opponents cards they have selected. Find the imbalance and choose cards that exploit the imbalance. There are many levels of things happening in this game. This is advice for pro mode only. I recommend you have many weapons to choose from so you will play each opponent differently and use the cards that most counter what he is playing against you.

I agree with everything Bookie just said. Not only is he the champ last season but also a nice guy.

I started playing this game only doing the campaign mode. So all the enhancements I made initially were based on getting myself diamonds from those. There is advise on how to beat the campaigns in the forums. Although much more fun to figure it out yourself. It will take ya awhile to build a collection, enhance that collection and complete the campaigns. Campaign mode also gives you ideas for deck strategies...

Quick mode. After you get stuck in campaign mode come to practice matches. If you choose quick mode don't worry about what kind of deck your going to play. You get daily awards for participation. Then as you aquire cards Just mimic what beats you. Base your enhancements on what you play the most.

This game changes with every update. So if you max level a card and next update it gets nerfed don't be upset. It happens to all of us. Your going to make mistakes and that is ok. You can reset if you are @ VIP lvl 3.
