Question on Match Resets

Why would people want to reset their match history? Is there a benefit? Does it change the players you face?

I feel like people that would start off bad, let's say 15 and 40 and then the deck it's better in and start having better matches they would want to reset the ratio to make it look better. As far as getting matched up with the people I do not know, I am pretty sure there isn't a big matchup system because I've seen the best and I seen the worst.

Lol.. no I'm pretty sure I've seen a deck or two a little worse
