My story my review (Christmas contest 2017)

I discovered ECB1 and then ECB2 through Steam queues. I spent with first game 100 hours and I am about to beat this time with the second game. I don't remember other game which I would play so long after my school years passed. Why? What do I like? (it is sort of review)
Matches are fast to play. No long waiting for actions of another player.
Automatic gameplay creates specific environment and rules. It is fun to watch.
The strategy is the key to win. Only 7 cards in the deck but billions of combinations. You can make offensive or defensive decks or balance both sides.
Low rarity cards are powerful. You can make strong combos by regular play.
Every deck has a weakness. Learn some tactics in the campaign.
I usually don't mind my position on ladder much. Be ready to fight my crazy combinations.
The best feeling when I see my invention/combination used by other players. (Maybe it is just coincidence.)
There are 4 types of card battles. Here is my view:
Classic mode - playground to test your deck. If you have some strategy then there is high chance that you win more than 50% matches. You can assign the first target to creatures but I prefer to ignore this option as preparation for Ladder matches (Pro and Hardcore).
Pro mode - it is possible to adjust deck - choose 3 cards and see 3 cards of the opponent (only creatures), then other 2 cards and other 2 cards. The target is to hide your strategy or mislead your opponent and at the same time, discover opponents strategy and adjust deck. The position of every card matters.
Hardcore mode - Gameplay of 3 decks is chained. You choose whole decks and you can react to opponent's selection. 1 deck can beat even all 3 decks but it is not common. The extra strategy is brought by effect transfer. Decks transfer all positive and negative effects to fight the next deck.
Arena mode - Sanctuary for Pay2Win screamers to prove that their losses are caused by money. Same cards available for you and opponents. It is just about skills.
If you like the strategy planning over the push for the next move then this card game is worth to try.
