New player

Hi, im a new player. This is a great game and i am wondering what viable decks out there that i can start off with being all free to play? I can see that this game is a major grind and do not want waste time enhancing useless cards. Are bears or gargoyles startegy still viable? Any good builds? Any help is appreciated.

The Gargoyle / Bear strategy is definitely still viable. Aside from this setup try to line up 4 units with two spell/trigger cards and see what works best for you.

Here's a list of silver and gold cards I would NOT suggest upgrading:

Dryad, Skeleton, Cyclops, Dire Wolf, Bandit, Paralysis, Enchantress, The Crusader, Centaur Warrior, Storm Elemental, Treant, Black Widow, Hellhounds, Queen of Spiders, Kendoka Girl, Monk, White Tiger Taoist, Divine Barrier, Corpose Explosion.

If you find your winning ratio is below 50% try to stick to the practice arena until you can upgrade your cards with the free coins (otherwise you will be playing at a loss). Participating in the Ladder matches to get a top 500 ranking will also give you a boost every season.

Thanks iron! i appreciate the help. Can u post sample decks? That will give me a better idea of some of the deck archtypes out there.
