When to use heal cards

As a top player I try to keep a dynamic deck as possible in pro mode rather than go in with six cards already picked out. I usually face good opponents doing the same. My first four cards are mostly if not all unit cards designed to mesh well against my opponent. When I get to the final two cards I actually play the battle out in my mind card by card to see which of my units are gonna take hits and in which order. If the opponents cards are all targeting the same unit when I play it out in my mind then there is usually no reason to use heal cards. The opponent is focusing their attack too much and you are usually better off using trigger cards that slow down the assault because they are focusing on taking out one unit at a time quickly. This keeps your units alive the longest so they can sneak in another attack. But when opponents attack is not focused such as each unit is targeting different one of your units then a blessing of Mother Earth is a great card as your opponent will hit each of your units once maybe twice then the heal will bring them all back up. Lots of chaos attack or area attack units is another reason to bring a blessing of Mother Earth.
Summertime in pro mode as a dynamic strategy can be done but for me is rare. I usually put my highest attacking unit devils daughter in the far left slot. If I am facing a lot of hell legion units I might sneak in a summertime bc I want to keep the devils daughter alive longest to reflect the most damage to these hell legion units. You will want to assess your first card as well and figure how summertime will mesh with it and when. When I get to picking my final two cards I once again run the battle in my mind if I see that my devils daughter will take 2 shots out of 4 I might play summertime. If she were taking three shots out of four she will likely be killed as the attack is too focused and if she is taking one shot out of four then there are usually other cards more worth playing. I see summertime and all heal cards being most effective in final two slots in pro mode. When your first card is taking two hits while the rest of your cards are taking one hit then summertime combined with blessing of Mother Earth are two great final cards.
Often I see a drain life played early by a newbie. A top player easily counters this with a lords Templar. You want to try to play this card in final slots against a good player to disguise it. As a dynamic card I have yet to use it. I see it most effective in set decks in hardcore mode and used quite well. But again it's all about playing out the battle in your mind before picking the final two cards and seeing which cards work.
When heal cards come out too early they are easy to counter with sabotage and often the opponent is coming into pro mode with a set strategy and a good player can predict what's coming next and counter it.
The most important thing to remember in pro mode is don't automatically plan to play a blessing of Mother Earth. There's nothing worst then your opponent slashing down one of your units only to have three remaining units with full health when your blessing of Mother Earth goes off.
