Epic Cards Battle

How do I beat the Hero card, he is the only card I can't get three stars on. Take him down in 25? Simple. But in 10 seconds? I see some people have completed all 120 quests, how was this possible? Am I supposed to take one of the cards and super-upgrade-enhance in order to accomplish this?

How do you beat this guy?

Side note: I see people use the Hero card a lot in play. What the heck does he do? His specialty is "Level Up: This card's enhancing effect is doubled." His what? I don't see anything doubling? Is this a bug, or a joke that is over my head? I just don't understand the appeal of this card, and why people use him in their decks.

I also haven't beaten this hero. But I know what his specialty does. When u enhance him using rubies, he gets double the effect ie more hp and dmg increase.

Yeah, that's the biggest guns I've thrown at him. I still come up about 200 hit points shy of one-shotting this guy. A few more (expensive!) levels...
