freaky paralysis

ememy deck 2 heal 3 paralysis and bear beat my 3 deck in hardcore mode
i try with low cd card but indont have card lower than cd 5 :evil:
:D
after the 1 round bear already has 0ver 2000 atk so one shot one kill :(

wth. i dont know how but the paralysis is fckin op in this version. cd = 5 and no limit for silver card is too high.
see a trend in this version , a lots of ppl used this card

is this the balance of the game like ecb said in other topic ? :?: :?: :?:

i'm afraid....
maybe i will quit the game ...

By the way, this is funny. I mean, it is so sad that is getting funny. Paralysis = 5 sec cooldown, and delays your card by 6 or 7 seconds hahahahah :lol: :lol: :lol:

It was like that 2 versions before, and they changed it. Now, they again got back the same thing that is not ok at all!

paralysis is OP and stupid and irritating and a loot similar words..

I don't know what they were thinking when they decided to modify this card like this.
To deal CD+6 every 5 sec is just stupid.

Seems like ECB always want to have a card so OP that everybody will use it in every version.
In 1.7 it was Poison Rain, in 1.8 it will be Paralysis.

You have to change it back right now before everybody stops playing.
A chance the pace has been greatly improved otherwise matches would have taken an eternity with 3 or 4 Paralysis in each deck.

Paralysis is a Spell card to delay target's cooldown. Here are some points in theory.

- When enemy put a Paralysis, it also occupy a card slot.
- It doesn't contribute hit points as Unit card do.
- It's efficiency will not always be the best. For example, when it cast on a card with CD 7/9. (max cd is 9, 7 is current cd) It will make it to be 9/9 again, so actually the effect is only delaying target by 2s.

We are looking into it, and would like to hear more opinions from you.

I think the problem is that when you design a card, you are thinking of what will happen to the balance of the deck if a player put 1, and only 1, of this card in his deck.
If I put 1 Paralysis in my deck, I agree it is rather well balanced.

But players are always thinking "what if I put 5 or 6 of this card in my deck?".
This has been a recurring issue with cards.
First there was the Druid Master deck.
Then it was Bandit and Poison Rain.
Now it is Paralysis.
Do you even run test matches to figure out what will happen?

One simple solution would be to limit the use of a card to only 1 per deck.

that is not true

if enemy unit card have 2/7 ( 2 is current cd / 7 is max cd ) and paralysis activated ( with 5 cd ), the unit catd will have +5 cd and make the enemy unit card to 7/7 again. after that paralysis startet again with 5 cd and after 5 cd it delay target by 5cd and the enemy unit card have from 2/7 to 7/7 cd again.

common it make no sence, the unit card will never have a round to play if it has to face 1 vs 1 with paralysis

The latest patch has been fantastic.. except for Paralysis.

I've been against 5xParalysis decks constantly.
The problem is if they kill even one unit,
you never get to take another action, ever. It becomes nothing but waiting to lose.
Watching as you slowly die 100% defenseless, is horrible.

If a unit card is overpowered at least you can try to counter it. But the only counters to paralysis are paralysis and maybe the fairy that is immune to spells, but that isn't exactly as common as paralysis.

I don't think its a good idea to let this game devolve into 5xParalysis+unit only.
