Latest progress on new upcoming version v1.9

v1.9 will be released within this month. It mainly focus on helping the new players, with much more rewards than ever, and game balancing.
Below are the confirmed major changes:

2014.7.5
- New cards including 1 new Epic card.
- New quests.
- Battle surrender option.
- In-game all cards info.
- Improvement to the quest system. More rewards (cards, coins, rubies) and exp, difficulties can be chose from to help new players get over the quest.

2014.7.10
- The planed feature “Daily Login Rewards” will finally be added with upcoming 1.9 version update. Players simply login to the game everyday and get rewards of rare cards, diamonds, coins or rubies for free. Login 2nd day get 3 stars card, login 7th day get 4 stars card!
- Energy boost in ladder matches is optional.

Sounds really good to me.. Especially about Quests improvements and Surrender option :). Can u reveal in estimate that when will the new version come?

Not only that you will make happier the new players, I think you will return some of retired players too!

How about
1. Daily quest (new one everyday) for chance to get a rubies or 1 diamond or blue card possibly legend card. This would get people coming back everyday.
2. Practice mode ability to play the computer and pick it's cards. This would be a great way for newbies and pros to figure out ways to play against certain cards or decks.
3. Team battles. You are randomly assigned a partner and go up against two other opponents. Newbies get a chance to play alongside pros and learn. Your team picks a total of six cards one card at a time alternating between you and your partner. Essentially you have three rounds like in pro mode but instead of choosing two cards you and your partner each choose one card. This could lead to some new strategies maybe even a team ladder separate from singles ladder.
Card rebalancing suggestions
1. Make unicorn an a weaker area attacking unit w pierce attack
2. Two quios seems like a weaker version of Aphrodite
3. Frozen trap was over nerfed in 1.8 IMO

Can no longer support a game that wont cater to new players. I hope you understand.

Good ideas Bookie.
About the third idea, there would be a little more work for it (a lot of bugs will appear). There could be another battle type (like coins bet, cards loot, ladder...) called team play. As you said, your teammate will be random player.
Now, I will say again, I think this is the thing that will make the game played more than ever! The thing that this game needs more than everything:
Creating a guilds / clans. 5 - 10 max players in clan. Let's take the number 10 for max players. So, there can be a clan tournament. It will last 15 days, the same as ladder. The winning clan will receive 500 diamonds that will be shared among the players.
Furthermore, there can be a clan war that will be among two clans, and will last 1 day. The winning clan will receive 50 000 coins shared among the players, and the clan that lose the battle will lose 50 000 coins (-5 000 coins for every player). If your clan like to participate in this, every player must have at least 5 000 coins.
BUT, if you like this thing working properly, you MUST fix the chat and create another guild chat that doesn't need so much time.
About the first thing that Bookie said, daily quest, it can be made so powerful. It can be like....some boss is coming with too strong cards, and you have to find a way to defeat him for bigger reward, and one easier quest for a smaller reward. Instead of two quest there can be 1 quest with more levels every day. There are a lot of options for it...
And I will say again, put that HAPPY WHEEL in the game, so every day, every player can take some reward plus. Of course, you can spin that wheel once in a day. If you want to spin it more, you must pay diamonds for it.

I think we can use login rewards mechanism like many other tcg/ccg.its a simple way to keep players stick with the game everyday, or daily quest as Bookie said

Guild would be great idea for new players and seasoned vets. Anything that encourages new players to play alongside vets is good (guild or team battle). Some guys may not fork over money to buy epics but would love the opportunity to have some epics on their team. Even three person team in hardcore mode might be interesting.
Whatever guild is it should probably encourage more ladder play but gotta keep all top players from joining same team so maybe come up with a CAP system limit. For example you get a RANK # based on how well you did in ladders last month. A high rank last month gives you a high rank number. For example rank 1-10 could have rank # of 100, rank 2-20 could have rank # of 90 and so forth. You guild could be small team of 4-5 guys with a RANK cap of say 250. This would mean top players would HAVE to guild up with weaker players. As guys get better they may need to leave guilds and form new ones. What could be interesting is if guilds could have any number of players such as 2 high ranking guys by themselves in one guild or 20 low ranking guys in a separate guild but whatever they are competing for the RANK cap makes it an even fight. I would assume guilds would compete for total team DP and a small guild of newbies made up of 50 could have a decent shot at winning. Maybe prize every two weeks same as ladder. Not sure if last season rank is best measure or if there is better measure such as card enhance rate percentage or a combination of the two.
But guild could not be done without in game chat system for sure that would be needed. I could see many newbies having fun joining big clans to take on money players on fair playing ground. The friendships built will keep people in the game and wanting to play more and buy stronger cards.

Here is another idea maybe good for everyone and put skill back at front. Let's say guild is too complicated, how bout 8 person tournament consisting of three rounds. But CAP is capped at 120 for all three rounds. So if you play cap over 40 one round you will have to play cap under 40 a different round. If you come out swinging too hard first and second round you will have too little cap left for final. This would level playing field for all players as top player will play down epics and use legend and diamond more even silver and gold become important all of a sudden, especially if you go in last round with only cap 25-30 leftover. Pay players have advantage with greater card selection and experience but forces them to play silver and gold more often too as strategy becomes more unique. Buyin 500 gold with prize to top four players. Could encourage newer and medium players to play for money more frequently and feel like they have chance. I like it! Each round done like pro mode and all cards available. But can only use what cap you have remaining.
