Epic Cards Battle

Dear players,

We are evaluating the possibility of rolling out a new cards drawing system to replace the existing card packs system. But before we launch it in future updates, we would like to get feedback from our dear players.

The reason:
To address the issue while some players feedback the card packs using diamonds is not affordable.

How it works:
The costs to purchase cards with diamonds will be significantly dropped. But it will not guarantee high rare cards like in the card pack. For e.g. Player could use 50 diamonds to draw a card, and it has chance to be an Epic card.

We would like to make the game enjoyable to everyone. Your opinions are important to us. Feel free to leave your comments.

I am happy to see you sharing this idea with us, players. Personally, I don't like this. Better said, I don't like the part "removing the existing card packs". There must be some packs with guaranteed cards. You can add this drawing system but let the old packs stay. Why?

This new drawing system is gambling. What if some weak players get 100 diamonds and spend them to this and get nothing? It will leave the game, for sure. Even the stronger players. They can spend 1000 diamonds on this and still get nothing.

It is okay for the people who want gambling, for the people that have more diamonds than they need and want to have some fun, but still there must be something guaranteed.

It's not fair to someone who is saving the diamonds up for months to get an epic pack to spend diamonds for nothing.


My advice and opinion: Keep existing card packs (there must be pack with guaranteed epic card) and add this cards drawing system. Believe me, if you put everything based on luck and chance you will lose a lot of players. The players who I talked to(not active in forum) also want to see existing cards packs in the newer versions.

1.請問管理員往後是50藍寶抽3~5星的卡一張/100藍寶抽4~5星卡一張是這種模式嗎!?
2.往後還會有登入獎勵送卡的活動嗎?

如果依照我們台灣的幣值50藍寶等於NT144元，如果換到一張3星卡或者2~1星卡!!其實對我來講有點不划算!!但是如果確定在3星以上的卡!!那倒可以考慮,謝謝

A few comments. If you do this you should also keep the guaranteed card packs bc not everyone likes to gamble. Also you should specifically state the odds so that people can accurately assess the risk of buying those card packs. Personally though if someone buys a bunch if these packs and doesn't get a card they will be extremely upset. On the flip side if they by a bunch and get a lot of epics they will be super happy.

Here is another option that I think you should throw out there. Offer half price lacks with guaranteed "proxy" legends or epics. These are legends and epics that must remain at level 1 other than that it is the same card but now becomes twice as affordable and guaranteed. The player then can have the option of spending the remainder of the diamond cost to "unlock" the level up feature if the card. So if the player wants the full version if the card they still pay full price. However, they are able to buy more packs for the same cost and if they get duplicate cards or cards they didn't want or need it doesn't sting as much.

Another suggestion would be to simply add a small chance of an epic in a dominating pack. Now an epic is still readinable at a chance but if you don't get that epic at least you'll get that legend card you normally would have gotten anyway.

个人觉得这个做法虽然对没花钱的玩家来说可能是好事，因为至少有机会得到epic卡，
但是实际上在这里要得到蓝宝石是非常困难而且有限，
对于付费玩家可能会面对给了几百元却一张好卡也没有的机会，赌博性质太高。

如果换个角度比如说付50个蓝宝石随机抽一张卡，至少是legend卡，但是非常小的机会是epic卡，而有更小的机会会抽到只能透过这个方法得到的epic卡
这样应该还是会吸引玩家大量购买来看运气得到那超稀有卡，而且得不到也不会太难过。

如果要解决无法负担的问题，我觉得用coin买的卡牌包有非常小的机会抽到epic卡比较能解决吧？至少coin是可以farm，而蓝宝石不能。
或者蓝宝石可以用coin或卡牌换取的话。

I think the drawing system should be added on the existing card packs option but not to replace it.

Regarding the card drawing system, i think the probability of drawing out an epic has to be carefully adjusted. If too high, it will be unfair to paid player. If too low, new player or even existing players will be disappoitned and leave the game(just like the issue of the crystal flower pack). With regard of this, i think you may add two drawing system, for the 1st one, it contain 3~5star cards, so new players will be happy that they have a high chance of getting a new card. For the 2nd one, it contains 4~5stars cards, and of course with a higher price per trial, so that free players who have acquired most diamond cards will be more willing to pay as they are expecting new cards from drawing.

Sounds like you will end up with a lot of frustrated people. Peoples expectations are always high. If it was a chance for coins where people didn't spend their own $$$ I could see it working out better. If I spent $100 for 1000 diamonds and then proceeded to pull 20 cards and zero epics I would be very upset.

The cards now may be super expensive but at least if I spend the money to buy an epic pack I know I will for sure get an epic card.

Honestly? How many more big spenders do you think are out there? I've been playing for four weeks. I've spent over $500. There aren't a lot of people that do that. I know for me I'm not spending another dims until diamonds are cheaper. The system you are proposing sounds good. Like everyone else said though, keep the current packs as well. That said you still need to reduce the cost of diamonds if you want this game to not just grow but to stay alive at all.

Read the chat logs for yourself. You have a lot of people that like this game but won't pay the ridiculous prices to buy diamonds. This is the most expensive digital CCG around. Games like Magic you can buy 4 of every card in the current series for what you guys charge for a couple of epics. That's crazy.

Any changes you make to the stores system will do little or nothing to entice a large segment of the community. You have to make diamonds cheaper. That is the answer.

A few more things to add...

The first is that my posts are still being moderated. I've spent $500 on this game. I think the least you can do is let me provide feedback in the forums. You guys need to either approve posts daily or stop the approval process because most people aren't going to post more then once when it takes over a week to get approval. If you want this game to last you need to know what the new players think. Requiring approval for posts isn't going to accomplish that.

Regarding the issue at hand. I stated previously that as long as you keep the existing packs its a good idea but you have to make diamonds cheaper. There's one more thing. You have to reduce the cost of upgrading cards and provide some sort of compensation to players that paid the money to upgrade cards already. I'm not talking about myself here either. I'm talking about the small group of players that are responsible for this games success thus far. Without them none of us would still have a game to play.

When they tell you something over and over again you should try listening. When new players like myself ask you to lower prices you don't seem to understand why were asking. I dont want cheaper diamonds in the store so I can save money. I want cheaper diamonds so I can buy more diamonds and spend more money then I am willing to spend now. Everyone loves a sale. A 50% reduction in the cost of diamonds and rubys would entice new players to spend money. Plus those of us who have already spent money will spend more. You have to make a change of somekind if you want to keep newer players. If you don't this games days are numbered.
