Proof that Ladder Season is too long

3 1/2 hours ago, I was ranked #848 as I've ignored this season to keep winning 100g rounds until today. I figured I'd put in a few hours just to see. During that time, I also took a dinner break and a half an hour nap. My rank now? #43. I've earned just under 11,000 DP today.

My point is that the ladder season is too long. In three days, I'm probably going to end up where I would have if I was in the battle the entire season. Spending weeks on end for something I can do in a couple of days for such a tiny reward just seems bass-ackwards.

Please shorten the ladder season! (AND boost the rewards)

I guess I can be the other end of the proof. I currently have 731 wins and I have been playing the ladder constantly since it began. (mainly because it takes forever to find an opponent in coin bet quick matches) I plan on reaching 1000 wins (personal goal) but I'll probably end up ranked in the top 10 or at least I'm hoping too. So if that happens I rank 10th with 1000 wins for 50 diamonds and 7500 gold. definitely not worth the prize but my own personal goal keeps me playing the ladder matches.

I would suggest either shortening the ladder season to a week long or upping the prizes dramatically. I think the current prizes are more suited for a week worth of the ladder season.

The first ladder was over a month long. This one is at least Shorter with better prizes if you can believe that. lol so it's getting better at least?

Honestly,

I would be fine if it were even 1 week with half the rewards. (or maybe a bigger curve towards the middle end 20-75th players)

At least it would be very very competitive.

As Pr0digy mentioned (and im paraphrasing) theres really no incentive to keep playing daily ladder if you know you are already at your most likely rank.

pro had won 20000 in one day, and ranked just behind 10 players after 2 weeks ladder.
it's ridiculous.
u can open a long ladder season but the player wins the most with a higher ratio sould be champion.
or just make it short and effective.

I'm Crusades. And I do not want to play ladder mode, maybe because there are no 100g.

How about add 100g in ladder mode?

BTW, my personal goal is to play less than 100 in ladder.
