At last 2 seasons of Ladder, almost all the players just active at last few days.
So why not just make the Ladder season in one or two weeks?
Even with less rewards, it would be more exciting for duel.
A more compact and competitive ladder?
Re: A more compact and competitive ladder?
At the risk of getting flamed for agreeing, but yes. Shorter times, reduced reward would seem like the more competitive way to go.
Heck you can even have 24 hr or 48hr mini ladder tournaments. With diamond cards as prizes or whatever for top 10 percent or something
Perhaps find a way to reward grinders who don't have as much resources. Something like Tiered prizes for hitting certain ladder points/ wins

Re: A more compact and competitive ladder?
As long as epic cards can only be purchased with real money, the ladder system will not be interesing for the majority. High ranks will always achieved by ppl abusing overpowered epic cards. Pay to win will be the END for this game in the long run. I invested much money in this game because I like it, but if the continue to imbalance the game by forcing ppl to buy cards to win, without giving other long time player same chances. I will quit this game and many ppl who realize the rude strategy.

A month is too long. I Agree 2 weeks is better.
