So when I played ladder vs top players, epic for epic, I am mostly at the losing end unless luck favors me in certain set-up. I really wonder how much they have spent to get theirs up to that level....
Conversely, when I am playing casual Pro Mode match, I can't help but feel sorry when I met newbies who have to face my deck of low level epic and legendaries. Sometimes, I will just used my level 40 bear (upgraded cheaply when i first started the game) when I see newbies. Recently, in ladder matches, I find that i can be paired up with a few players multiple times within a span of 2 hrs...this makes me really worried abt the long term future of this game (having already put in some investment). It shows that its "pay to win" model will slowly but surely be driving off casual players, even mid-range players like myself will also be eventually put off by ladder matches and revert to just casual pro mode given the efforts vs the rewards from ladder matches.
Which brings me to my final point, isn't it ironic that the ladder rewards are also not befitting to the challenges it come with? Only the top player gets a Epic card and insane amount of diamonds as a reward, all other ranks below 20 get literally "peanuts". My question is, if the top player have already spent an insane amt of money to get all the epics and upgraded them to be the number one ladder player, what is the value of that extra epic card and the heaps of diamonds to him/her...surely not as huge impact as to someone who is probably ranking at rank of 100 and below?
just my two cents after playing the game for abt a month now ....
It is not pay to win and is proven by my good friend smoki2vu, he is a free player who always hits top 20 most of the time and is I think top 10 in pvp worldwide leader board.
So I recommend you stop spending if that's how you feel and really learn how to counter everything and be really efficient within game ^.^

Yeah. Hi Guys. Erm. So. I see you have made it to my signature. Well. Isn't this awkward.
You should not be quitting after spending so much pal...I m one of those whom you consistently beat in ladder (my in game tag is gemwiz).
For me, to prevent myself from spending further, i just played it more casually now. As in, I will play ladder leisurely and not take the result too seriously. When I don't feel like playing ladder, i will just play pro mode. As long as u don't take defeats too seriously, i guessed the temptation to spend more will reduce drastically as well.

This game is way too expensive..
I have already spent about 600$ and still have just 3 epics 20lv
and few legends 30lv and diamonds 30lv and some 50lv golds...
I really like this game but Hope ECB should lower the price or make rubies or diamonds more easily.
But ECB wouldn't read my quote so It's so use writing here..
I thought of quitting after taking the 1st in the ladder. but it seems it's impossible now..
*sign*
but i only have spend 400 $, only got 1 epic
But the most anoying thing is... In other Games you spend 400$ you are the KING.
Here you are one of a better, but not special and always to beat with "easy, not expensive" decks
