Post by Yna »

Could you help me about usefulness of Joker in 1-100 Ladder?

Please give me advice, this card good or not against high lvl epic!legend decks (i try with heal cards?).

Worth it lvl up to high level for Ladder?

I won maybe in 10-20% when i use joker...(lvl1) now I upgrade them to lvl 20 and have no exp but i think is great card against some epic/legendary decks...so my opinion is : it s worth to upgrade even chance to win is 1:5 (my statistic)

yes joker is good vs epic i won some battles because of joker.

1)joker attack the card with the most power so vs epic most of those cards have good power.
2) it clone the epic card and have 20% health and more power than the original epic plus the level you have it as joker it remain as epic after.

Joker can be great. I do advise leveling it up

I have gotten smoked because people have stolen my Goddess of War x2 and proceeded to melt my cards.

I can suggest using it with Summer Time if you have it. you may not, but if the Joker is in the front of your deck, it will change to their powerfull card then get constantly healed and attack buffed.

It is tricky tho. Because in Ladder if i see a Joker I will almost every time throw out a Treant in one of my last cards. It has the highest attack out of any of any card if upgraded right, and it has a 18 second cool down. It is borderline useless.

So my advice is to use your jokers for your last 2 cards. So your opponent wont see it coming. Maybe a Joker and Blessing of Mother Earth to try to keep your new card alive longer. Or even a trap, like pit fall or freeze trap.

When I play a Ladder match and see 2 high level jokers at the end of my opponents deck, it makes me go 'Oh shit' every time. And if the rest of my deck doesnt attack the card the Joker will turn into very strongly (attack type/armor bonuses) if can be very good for the Joker Player.

So take a look at what card will probably be cloned. Highest Attack obviously. And judge that to the rest of your opponents deck. See if the match up would be in your favor. Good luck!

Thanks for the comments!

I think big disandvantage of Joker is losing first 10 second (first hit of this card very low).

Opponent epic/legend deck hit one full round, this mean that, need damage mitigation, and/or minimum 2 heal cards and 1-2 triggers (Traps, trap det.) (ofc. Jokers the last two cards)

Opponent easily can put counter cards his deck, i cant surprise.

Thanks Penn for advice!

I think the joker is a subpar card personally, by the time 10 secs is over i have usually killed 1-2 of the opposition cards and then the joker hits my oorochi and then after 18 secs it will take its first hit but its ususally dead before it gets a first hit. Or gets 1 hit and dosent kill anything.

If i want to be really nasty i use angelas amulet against joker cards and they never do any damage to kill amulet and stay jokers till they die.

I only lose to Joker cards only if they steal my godess of war because im using summer time on her.

I always start with a devils daughter which has highest attack. When I see joker I bring a seal of fate and a lord of Templars to neutralize them. In the case of only one joker I sometimes use a frost bolt. Don't try two frost bolts on two jokers though both frost bolts hit joker number one.
