I have purchased 5 crystal packs and gotten a whopping 25 gold cards (all crappy, useless gold cards too). The pack says diamond cards are 'common' but this is crap. Gold cards are common. Nothing but gold cards.

My deck breakdown is 92 silver, 70 gold, 14 diamond. (3 diamond cards were from ladder season rewards). I have only bought 1 of the low end light of hope packs. Basically, it seems near impossible to get any decent cards. Last round of ladder matches I played I got walloped with killer cards and won just 2 of 30 matches. I have no anti-magic cards and can't even earn the 'sabotage' card in the campaign because you need to have 4AOE units and a deck cap =27... And this can't be done with my current cards.

If I don't get a decent card with the next crystal pack, I am uninstalling this game.

After reading your post, I have made a test.
1 Crystal Flower pack costs approx same as 4 Lucky Stars packs.
You got 5 gold cards for 1 Crystal. If you sacrifice each of them, you will get min. 115 rubies (23 for each single card).


I purchased 4 Luckies and got 14 silver and 6 gold, unfortunately no diamonds. If I sacrifice all of them, I will get min. 250 rubies (8 for each silver and 23 for each gold).

(Why minimum? You receive more if you sacrifice more then 1 card of the same name. 2 same gold cards give 47 rubies, 2 different - 46).

250 rubies is quite a deal - you can enhance gold card to 13 level or diamond to 6 or 7.

To the point: as Yna said elsewhere: with Crystal Flower pack, you do not buy cards. You buy a chance to get Legendary/Epic. Very small chance, indeed. If you do not want to take this risk, you are much better off when you buy Lucky Stars and convert them to rubies.

I am in the same boots as you (and majority of non-cash players) and I would say - DO NOT QUIT YET. Patience is the key. If you do not want to invest real money, you have to invest your time and be patient. You do not expect to win with top players, do you? Not only because they purchased expensive cards. Also because they play a lot and are very experienced. They know the tricks you are trying to invent.

Try to enhance those cards that you seem to use frequently and you will start to win more. And most of all, enjoy the game. On the last day of last ladder I was around 105 rank and wanted to improve my standing to get to top 100. Then I lost 6 or 7 battles in a row (some of them with top 20 players, they are always on a hunt during last hours of ladder....) so I was about to smash my phone to the ground crying "ENOUGH"!!! Then I took a rest - this is just a game. Enjoy it!

OK. Well my deck composition is 92/70/14/0/0 so clearly getting way more common and gold than anything else. What packs do I buy to get diamond cards! :'( I look at opponents and at lot look like 32/25/12/0/0... So almost as many diamond cards as me with just 69 csrds vs. My 174 cards. These ratios are pretty common... And keep in mind I have converted excess cards to rabies too and definitely have no more than 6 of any one card... So I've actually bought I'd say at least 30 more cards... Easily... So well over 200 cards total. If I have gotten 8 diamond cards from packs they are dropping just 3% of the time!

So where the hell is everyone getting their diamond cards???

You used to be able to purchase 1 diamond card with Gold if I remember correctly.

ECB please bring this back.

Nobody is getting Diamond cards in the 10,000 gold pack, it even says Common. That's just a blatant lie...


Even make it ridiculous price if you have to, 5,000 Gold for 1 random Diamond. I think players will even accept this. Give players hope and something to shoot for. Everyone continues to be discouraged with their outcomes on the Crystal Flower packs. Why have something in your game that makes players feeel this way? PLEASE just do something to make EVERYONE happy. We want your wonderful game to continue!

By the way, I had new topic for trading option, it's been deleted, I don't know why...I will say again, we need a trade option in this game!

You may not know that from the statistics, there is average 1 Epic card given out every day, but most players don't share the news. (Or they don't go forums like you do)

Btw, the upcoming new version will be released in this month. It will help new players more than ever.

Thank you for this info. Maybe you should reassure us more about what is going on like what you just said.
