Dear ecb team..
many times i was sarcastic. This time i ll be serious.
Game is going to hell!!!! less and less players are online. i will give few hints why.
1. players discover more cheaper game very similar to ecb..well guys u are not alone anymore...everyone knows your prices are to high. i m not gonna say u should change something because many players did that and u are probably aware of it. change prices or not you losing player/ money because infinite myths are there.
2. once upon a time some wise man said more frequent updates. (i know, sound like fairytale). well guy congratz because u did new record without update (not counting bug fix version 2.1.1). i m 99% sure new version is ready but u wait chinese new year like big surprise to players. Don t do that if u want to see more than 100 player around.
3. why u hold release date like is some top military secret?
4. on coins bet 200 sometimes i must wait up to 10 mins to get opponent especially during ladder time. why? because we need more players!!!
5. your hardcore daily mission is set up on 5... to much guys..sometimes i need more than 20 mins to get opponent (hardcore practice) set that on 3 or double the prize to force people play it more.. lose whole capacity of battery for 5 wins is to much..
6. we all know card loot not working.. why? guys we paid for loot options with real money...(identifier and sticky fingers) and you just turned of...what is next? u will shut down some OP epic card and maybe write notice "thx for pay) i hope u will return us invested diamonds or compensate on some way because this looks like real legal robbery...my 100-200 diamonds rly means to me
7. give us trade option..we paid for cards (with money or time) and i think is our problem to give or not to give some cards to other player ( after all THIS IS TRADE CARD GAME!!!!)
that s all for now. i hope u realize that i m not bitching you now just trying to give u some advices (simple advices) to make game better and return fate to some players.

when i read this smoki I thought you were going to break out into an eminem rap or soemthing! LOL
anyway I agree, things need to change, the game is going downhill fast.. I am losing interst. Games take ages to find.
Lack of updates and support.
Not enough new cards coming out compared to the likes of eredan for example.
I feel so sorry for pay players as they have been truelly screwed. They must feel mortified. I guess it is what it is homie.

Re: open letter to ecb
recently just started playing another quick card game based off small decks of 8-12 cards. Won't mention the name. Anyway here is a list of things this game has that is quite attractive that you could try to capitalize on. This game has only been out for two weeks.
1. Way more campaigns than you. Free players this stick around for longer. I mean way more campaigns. And these campaigns get tough to where you can't beat some without grinding or spending a few bucks. With over 150 campaigns and a portal that leads to who knows how many more campaigns it will be enough to keep ones interest for a very long time. Why not release like 50 new campaigns in the next update? For some people winning the game just means beating all the campaigns. Might as well make them stick around longer. In fact rhe campaigns are much fun just as fun as ladder.
2. Storyline with the campaign. a storyline can add a little flavor to a game especially for younger players who take an interest in that. Someone might play one more mission just to find out what happens next rather than log off.
3. Opportunities to get four star cards and even five star cards. I went ahead and spent $100 to get a early jump in this game. I acquired a four star card for free though within about 10 hours of play. "Pay to win" is a bad word in the gaming industry. If you show opportunity to eventually get all the cards for free even if a long time it will change the perspective from pay to win to grinders have a chance. This new game had plenty of free stuff and I can grind it out surely but that didn't stop me from spending and I'm not even ranked 200 so surely lots of people are spending money on this game.
4. A fair ladder system. I get to choose who I play and when. It's ways a close match and I can play at night after my kids are in bed. This is huge for me. I've been sacrificing famy time to play your ladder schedule. Time to take a break from your game and spend time with my family then game for a couple hours after kids are in bed. I'm sure if you had 1500 players online you wouldn't need time slots. Of course this means you gotta cater to BOTH free and pay players to build a base. Without a strong base a building will crumble.
5. There are also multiple in game options to keep you busy other than ladder. Such as everyone online teaming up to take down a big boss with a million hp, raiding for gold, digging for runes, etc.
6. Vip players get bigger rewards including daily rewards. I could imagine you could do something similar such as extra rubies and gold for completing missions and for winning coin and ladder matches with higher vip. This game even gives better sign in and daily rewards bonuses for higher vip to make you want to get these features. This could incentivize some spending. People who spend money are less prone to abandon a game but that's just a rule of thumb bc I know some players who've stopped playing this game till the next update.
There are many more things your game has to offer too though that other games don't have but other games have much to offer too that you are missing. Many that are unique and innovative such as a pro match format of building decks in real time and a unique hardcore mode. The biggest problem is keeping free players around longer. I strongly suggest you focus on this area. In this other game you get rewards even when you lose a battle that is not the case with your game. There is access to higher star cards that is not the case with your game. There are many quest to keep free players around. The ladder matching is perfectly fair you only play people within 20-30 ranks of your current rank. You need more players to achieve this even if these are players spending nothing or very little. One suggestion might be to give away a free purple card with first purchase no matter how big the purchase. Make your campaigns get harder and harder to where some people will spend a little to beat them. Create a new battle mode that helps free players. Give bonuses for signing in two days in a row, etc. you used to give for signing in for thirty days. Go back to something similar make sure rewards never end. If they end then players will stop signing in everyday and eventually move on to another game. And yea if you sign in 30 days in a row you should get a free random legend card. Loot is not necessary, sorry to offend. It's broke and it feels like your solution to purple cards. Free players don't comprehend this. They are scared of the word loot. How can they possibly win vs someone playing longer with stronger cards anyway? That's what they're thinking. Encourage ladder by giving reward regardless if winning or losing. Same with coin matches. This way players WANT to play asant as possible to get the most rewards. Your current system punishes new players winning less than 50% so of course they won't play. The will beat campaign then quit bc they won the game and ladder is not fair in their mind. Introduce a tournament mode. Early rounds can be capped to help free players have a chance. Give cards for leveling up like Isaac says. If purple cards are given for level ups over 60 many will buy VIP or stick around. They won't see the game as pay only. People who see it as pay only don't give these games a chance often even if they would have gotten hooked and spent. There are two things hard to get in this game. Cards and rubies. Both are inaccessible. Even if cards are a little more accessible people will still pay for rubies. I'm not talking about a purple card every day but one or two a month is enough to keep a free players interest. If you think free players are not important? Please do not. A free player helps keep a pay player around! No free players then no pay players either. You need a broader spectrum of guys who are free, guys spending 0-$50, guys spending nothing, spending a little, spending medium, and spending a lot. If there are no guys spending nothing then who are the guys spending a little going to beat? If they quit then who are the guys spending a medium amount going to beat? And so forth. Of course this game is more than money buy you get the picture.
Anyway I hope you wake up to some things we've been telling you. Other games are starting to come to market that are invading your space and people are starting to find other options. Don't miss this golden opportunity to hit a home run this next update. Players are expecting you to give more and create a better environment for free players. Often you give then take something away. Let's hope that's not the case or you're spinning your wheels. Anyway I only tell you this bc I spent a lot on the game. If things continue as is players will slowly slip away. Like I said before a new game will come out and all the pay players will be left hanging. Yep called it.

Re: open letter to ecb
Dear players/ECB admin:
After reading Bookie comment and suggestion, I have several thoughts listed as below:
1) Admin, we are bunch of players who loves this game very much otherwise we would not give so many comments and suggestions to you, regarding some of those comments might not be so friendly! I do hope you ignore those unfriendly comments and please think it twice before why players are frustrated and not happy (both paid and free players)
2) I have also heard that so players left and begin their gaming in another game. And there is sign that in ladder too. Many people hard to match up with their level (even my free account i match up a lot of paid player which is way over my level)
3) About the daily login reward, yes that can help free player and end their frustration! But i know that some epic cards are way too powerful, for example slayer! i dont know next patch are going to nerf it but seriously one slayer always own your whole deck! Please take a look at that!
4) About Ladder, i think it will be much more helpful if they are capped, which i suggested long long time ago (i remember that time i was still a free player)! That will ended some frustration of free player too, or maybe i suggested we have different level of ladder (yes thats somehow like those soccer League, u have promotion and relegation) and the top flight got bigger reward than other ladder. Lowest ladder can only use up to,for example diamond card! That should keep free player and paid player in the game!
I hope Admin can listen to us and pick some useful suggestions from us! Cheers!

1. This issue has been mentioned many times. Different regions has different pricing strategies, ECB is released globally, so its prices its set to a medium point. But we will look into it based on the weightiness of where major players are located in future.
2. v2.2 is in the final stage of development. It's a large update so it takes time to ensure game quality. It will be released in this month. Please be patient.
3. Update is in development and it also requires time for Apple to review, so we are uncertain of the date. It depends on a lot of factors.
4. We are aware, and will optimize the game to keep more new players.
