The epic units are very expensive, in rubies, to enhance and the imprission card makes it pretty decficult to play more than one epic unit. So, I have 4 different epic units and wanna choose one to be enhanced as much as possible and I consider , even, sacrificate one or two as, if I am playing with 1 epic I would not need three in the bench.
Help me chose. I have Phoenix and lik her as she's fast to attack and can work in differents decks. Dragonslayer:He ia good just when plays against big monsters. Against usual ones the phemix and the red dragon( legendary) seems, to me, better.
Lord of templars I just got but seems to me that, as it works just against hell, it dies not deserve enhancement or even be kept. Frost Whyrm: studying the card it se ms to be the best epic unit that could fig in ANY situation( as phoenix does). But, all the time that I played against it it did not seem so o d rful for my opponent.
Please help me guys. For an all around epic unit that could fit in all decks to put tons of rubies in , do I choose wyrm, phoenix or dragon slayer?
Epic units to play alone
Re: Epic units to play alone
Don't sacrifice an epic that would be a huge mistake. The rubies you get for sacrificing one epic (3000) is nothing. When an epic is level 20 it costs 3000 rubies to get to level 23. There is no way that is worth an epic. And at level 30 it would not even get you to level 32. Each epic serves a purpose. When you play against a Devils daughter templar is powerful and can deal 1000 damage in one blow and that's just 7 seconds. Against an opponent who uses abyss a lot you can play templar and make them waste a slot. Dragon slayet is an amazing card. Vs dragons it can deal over 1000 damage and vs other high hp units it deals massive damage every eight seconds. It can also tank succubuses and deal good damage vs evolved succubuses. It's also one of the better options with dealing with skeleton king. Wyrm is super powerful. So much that all top players are leading with it. It's most powerful attribute is that it will set all your opponents cool down s back a second. This gives you an advantage in the second round of attacks. It's high hit points makes it a great tank vs pierce and melee attack and combined with spells you'll often win long matches. Phoenix is another great card. The best card to combo with it is Vengence. When Phoenix is killed the first time Vengence will often take down an opponents unit with it. It's a great combo vs an opponent who plays five or six units often vs you. All of these cards are different factions too. That means they can all be used to get a faction bonus from time to time when needed. They all serve a purpose and none are worth getting rid of. Many epics are powerful and not always best to lead with that is why many top players play their epics in the middle and end slots once they see their opponents cards they know which one is best to use. Anyway I hope you didn't sacrifice one. I sacrificed a goddess of war when I first started playing for some extra rubies and it was the biggest mistake I ever made. I have yet to get that card again and wish I had it in my arsenal to faction bonus some of my nature decks. And in hardcore mode too having lots of epics is even more advantageous. Hope this helps.
And yes the imprison card is stupid. If you only play one epic they can play this card and play five on five vs you with no epics. And if you play two epics it's even more favorable for your opponent as the damage exponentiates. Based on this philosophy it's too risky to play two epics vs many players who know you have more than one epic. And if you play more than one epic you often have to play trap detect and that can be a wasted slot. Anyway don't make your decision based on this one card. When the next update comes out who knows they may change this card and then you will regret getting rid of all your epics. For now the best strategy for you maybe dropping your epics in at the end.

Re: Epic units to play alone
Tks for your time qnd ideas Bookie. I come from chess and there we really discuss each other's strategies.
I did not sacrifice my phoenix, just reseted it today.
I am going for 4 stars cards because of entrampment and of cost. Unhappily, now, dollar is expensive in my country.
