I really tried my hardest to not post this but not sure what else to do because TheRe is a small group of top players who just feel it is ok to throw matches to help pull guys up in tank and push one guy up to the top with a couple days left in ladder. It's frustrating any season there are about 10 guys who could make a title run but with this kind of consistent dumping the game is simply just compromised. Why do some bother to spend so much time on a game that is fixed. With one week left #1 rank 56King throwing match to #2 Akke to help boost his DP.

Catty throwing a match to former guild mate and friend #1 ranked King56 with two days left in ladder shortly after King loss two big core battles and dropped 8k DP.
Im not sure what the solution is to stop this. You say these people should be banned from ladder. Is that really realistic to ban someone who has spent thousands of dollars? Never gonna happen. And who to blame: the person who is throwing the match only or the person who is benefitting? No one can say for sure with accusation. What if the person benefitting does not want their friend to throw the match? And how to know if these friends are not simply coordinating their matches to boost one to become champion within the last 2-3 days of ladder?
ECB additional steps must be taken to stop this. I am not shy in calling people who win titles this way Fake Champs.

Thought the Zero dp for timeout would fix this. If you don't want to beat your "friend" who is in first you can timeout. The winner gets no benefit. I don't agree with doing this either but its better than gifting dp to create a false champ.

Actually maybe an epic for top 5 positions? It is way over due for reward upgrades. If 5 players get epic maybe they're won't be such cheating? Also, we deserve better rewards don't we?

I am really ashamed to see this embarrassing form of cheating in game again.
Yes, it is cheating without any discussion. If you play a game the intention is to have fun and to win this game to have even more fun.
If you are throwing decks instead which won't work and lose for sure, especially after showing for the bigger part of the ladder event that you know how to win matches, this is not playing as it is meant to be and a clear abuse of any rules and purpose of this game!
It is really sad to see how professional cheating has developed in this game.
When live watching was introduced and everyone could see formerly well performing players losing on one selected player to push during the last days of ladder purposely by just dropping a crappy deck, preferable in hardcore mode for more points, they quickly changed to time out to the player to push to avoid the public blame they really earned. Now time out was changed to only give +1 dp to the winner, so they needed to go back to real matches. And if you can see well in the screenshots, they now play a crappy deck to lose as the third deck which will cost more time but hopefully will avoid many live watchers viewing until the end and recognize their cheating.
From this we also know they are already aware that it is not OK what they are doing. They would just play the crappy deck first to save lots of time to continue to the next match quicker if they would be persuaded themselves that this would still be fair play.
I have some other reasons why I don't like the changement to only +1 dp if a player gets a time out, but at least it showed us two things:
1. There are still people heavily cheating to win in ladder
2. The changement to +1 dp was not the solution, Momostorm needs to do more about this!
I don't know what is the best solution to solve this. As Bookie already said, you can't be really interested in throwing out paying players out of the game.
But if you are interested in keeping all those fair and honest players in game too which are the bigger part of the community, this cheating must have consequences! Cheating may not be rewarded!
Momostorm, please consider at least giving 0 ladder points to all players involved in this cheating scandal or find another way to show clearly, that cheating is not welcome here!
Please also think about how easy it should be to add an automatic database query to your admin desk which alerts you of players who lose extremely often to one special single player per day. You could easily find anyone cheating without changements like the +1 dp which also is a disadvantage to the fair players.
Alternativly or in addition, think about an option to review the last matches of every player from his profile (at least the last 7 matches of every player are saved already anyways for his own battle history so this is not a big change) and add a button which players can use to report cheating to you. Most players will be honored to help you to get rid of cheating.

I posted a thread like this and it never been up and approved by admins, which make me think that they protect them cheater. A few days later i emailed them and i got 0 answers. If you see from my screenshoot here:

It s time for some serious actions from ECB..beside taking title from "champion" is time to ban all players who are part of this rly lame story!!! Here is to much money and time to be fool like that..no matter how much they spent they deserve ban..i suggest warning ban (30 days without ladder) and if this continue ban for life..do not ignore this because we can all become that "smart" and make hell for all players that want compete..After bum place another post how same player cheat twice in less than 20 hours it s time for your real action...
