What many newer players may not realize about the arena is that there is a way to make extra gold using the daily quest.
Each day you are given a quest that rewards you +200 gold for winning 2 games. The trick is stop playing arena after you won 2 games. Then continue the run where you left off the next day, once again only playing until you have won 2 games. As you can see from the math below, each day you use this trick you will gain 200 gold you otherwise wouldn’t gain by completing the run on that day. Play extra games after 2 wins may result in lost lives which may result in pass gold earned.
Then when the season reaches the last day, simply play arena until you reach 5 losses on the run, all while accumulating as many wins as possible. That way when the season concludes, whatever gold you win from your placement on the ladder will be extra income.
I earn about 500+ gold on average each arena season using this trick.
