Hey there,
i open this thread to discuss strategy against annoying Gargoyle Decks. First of all i must say, i use it for my own
But i know the times where i play against them and lost the most fights against it.
With the combination Gargoyle/Heal/Godess Favor the most time deck is protected against death.
With another Spell or trigger card the most decks get in trouble...
Example:
Yesterday i WIN with this deck against a deck with THREE EPIC CARDS!!!
The opponent has:
- Phoenix (EPIC)
- Breath of .... (the card with the cooldown bonus) (EPIC)
- ... (sorry forgot the Name but the Woman where the damage is taking my armor) (EPIC)
- Heal
- Godess Favor
- Pit Trap
I thought i never had a chance but i win! So what i mean... the gargoyle is with the heals a very hard opponent. The only ways are fast spell cards or fast damage. Is there another card accept blade master or Princess Mia (becuase the princess often take damage befor the first strike) who ignores amor?
At the end a funny match with my "unbeatable" deck
What du u think who win this match:
The annoying Gargoyle Deck

Most people don't consider this card epic.Olcay wrote:- Phoenix (EPIC)
Yes, I used to roll that deck quite often (garg, heal, meteor x 4) then the gargoyle got nerfed. You should have seen it when it hit less but started with more armor, gained 50 armor each activation, and I think even had more health.
*sigh*
I refunded the rubies and moved on. I hope they buff this card up again, that was a fun deck to play.

Not mentioned counters include:
Elves seduction
Slashing strike with Duke Vamp
Fireball
"Burst fire" - meaning choosing several cards with the same cooldown to attack at the same time. This can take the Gargoyle down before healing can kick in. The obvious risk for this is going against the Reaper!

Re: The annoying Gargoyle Deck
The biggest opponent to Gargoyle has always been teh Blade Master.
