Admin:

I dont remember if there is buff in latest patch on this Assassination card(I think it does i remember the total damage was divided by 8 now you changed to 4), I think the damage is too high. Lets see the formula below at level 1:

(250 hp deduction X target's base-cooldown)/4

For example if i have a CD 6 unit, it damage will be (250 X 6)/4 = 375 hp deduction! I just wonder how can any unit stand that kind of damage?? Hp deduction is basically ignore armor type and its at level one too :evil: :evil: !!! Imagine how much damage will do to those 8,9 CD?? I hope this can be simple be nerfed in coming patch.

Nah this card is just fine. It's about time some free players get a useful spell. Double Assasinate is a great combo and helps them deal with dragons and bunnies. It did not get a boost either if I recall its followed this formula for some time now. It's only now that bunny is out that everyone is playing it an also the fact that wyrms cd went up a lot now a free player can stand a decent chance. It does an insignificNt amount of damage to low cd cards and provides a back door solution to gargoyle and creator (when combined with ice elemental). To me a card that is situational is not usually over powerful and I think this card is situational.

Hmm... bookie i partly agree on what you said about free player need counter to wyrm sq like card but in low end match assassination is very painful too. For example, a 9 sec units according to equation of the card it does 562 dmg without adding fraction bonus. Here i doubt any free player card (or maybe even paid player card) can tank for 2 rounds? Also imagine you are vs two assassination?

Here i provide a solution. You can change the card dmg by splitting into two. For any card base cd below or equal to 9, do normal base dmg (let say 300) and if above can put a % bonus on that. Hence i will protect free player counter to high CD card like wyrm and be very fair in low end match.

Please tell us what you think.

At the heart of the matter is the fact that free players don't have a unit that can deal with spells very well. The moonlight maiden is an event card and the fairy is a legend so it is likely that 99% of free players lack the fairy. This leaves sabotage as one of the better counters to the spell as even kobold would be last to target by assAssination. So to me I think assassination is a great card for free player and no need to change it. Instead introduce a card for free players that deal with spells. Such could be a card like:

Golem, unit, nature, cd 13. All spell damage is reduced to 0. Such a card could draw assassination attacks and be a decent tank for a free player or even a paid player. To me a card should never be changed unless it is ridiculously over powerful and I just don't see that in this case. Hence the better idea is to see if the devs can create something of their own to help free players deal with spells with a u it or to simply be a card that can be a great counter to somethkng like assassination. Also keep in mind this card has not been changed in over a year so there is no reason to think all of a sudden now it has become overly powerful.
